Oscar's Taco House

14 Oct 2024We've been married 45 years and we went to Oscar's Fish and the Oscar's Mexican restaurants while we were dating. Yes, there used to be two separate restaurants. Now, the menu contains both the Mexican food items and the fish items. We hadn't been back in a couple of years. The puffy tacos are so tasty. I had the No. 23, Norma's Plate: 1 cheese enchilada, 1 puffy taco, rice and beans. Perfect amount of food for me. The husband had the three puffy taco plate with rice and beans. Drinks were an iced tea ($2.49) and a Diet Coke ($1.79). The tab was $23.01. A great deal!There is an AMI internet jukebox. Love this. They have mounted speakers at two ends of the place and the sound is very good. There is parking right outside the restaurant, as well as a second lot across the street. Be careful when entering or exiting the restaurant. There is a 'drive-through' just outside the entrance. The cars pull up and the orders are taken to them. Service was just fine. Go there.

After placing order with that rude little girl on the phone they messed up my order and gave me food with a soggy puffy taco and 3 bean & cheese nachos with pickles thrown all over them ‍ Disgusting I threw all of it in the trash

Customer service was okay but the fish was over cooked and gross. We complained and they still charged us for it. Won't be going back

I had placed an order for pickup. My chicken puffy taco was soggy and cold. My husband's chicken fajita taco was undone and all over the bag, not wrapped correctly and they forgot his tortillas that came with his dinner plate.Too tired to call and complain. I just wanted a simple dinner.Disappointed.

Been going here my entire life but I live on the Far Northwest so it's a trek to get here but we'll worth the drive for puffy tacos and Fried fish. Great service and you drive up and get waited on in the car or come inside for table service. This place beats any other puffy tacos!

I did not get paid to post. This is my genuine review. I paid for my meal. Not sponsored/Not comped. My first time here and I liked it alot! I tried the Fried Fish plate. I also ordered a cheese enchilada with chili and it was delish! It was so good, I ordered a plate to go for dinner. The sweet tea was perfect! The chips and salsa yummy! Service was excellent! Ruby was our server and she was def on point. I will def visit again.

Love Oscar's taco house. Prices are reasonable. Puffy tacos of picadillo are good. Puffy tacos of guacamole are good. Puffy tacos of chicken are good. Dos equips dressed was good.,

DO NOT COME HERE I ordered 9 regular hamburgers and 2 double burger's. One of the doubles had cheese and 1 had no cheese. Both doubles were raw! I bit into it and saw that there was pink on top so I checked my whole burger and it was pink. The other burger that my daughter ate she noticed it half way her burger was pink as hell. I called them and the woman who answered the phone had to call a manager. I called back and was asked to turn in the burgers like I wanted to keep them ugly raw was burgers. I went back and got my money back for only the double burgers. I am very pisst off. I spent 82 dam dollars for this order and it was just thrown together like if they were feeding scraps to a dog. The whole order was a dam mess. I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! THIS RESTAURANT HAS BECOME A WASTE OF DAM SPACE!!!

Loved the food, great and friendly staff! The only thing I hate to walk in a restaurant and it smell like pinesol or fabuloso! They used it to disinfect the table! These products don't disinfect! The place should smell like food not cleaning products! I've brought it too there attention but.....

Every time I've been there there wait staff was friendly, food always good and at a very fair price so I don't know where the negative reviews come in.
