Food- none but sometimes there are great food trucksService-awesome, love the $2 train shots!Ambiance- amazing! Plenty of in door AND outdoor seating! Huge backyard! We really enjoy the fires on cold nights.

We used to come here often but not anymore. They used to have wine in glasses not in plastic cups. I have been complaining about this for 8 months but the answer is we are currently out. The pour is poor as well. Tried it one more time but probably not coming back and going across the street.

Perfect Friday night feels. Food trucks and live music. Anytime the train goes by get a house shot on discount. Outside seating is great.

After a couple glasses of wine at a local wine and ale spot, my friends and I decided to pop over to the ice house for a more casual and fun atmosphere. There was live music and a decent sized crowd so we figured this could be a good place to try! We were a bit disappointed when we realized there was only one food truck with a menu that didn't look overly appetizing. Regardless, we figured we'd grab a drink and figure out the food situation later. We all decided to go to the restroom and then get drinks. Much to our surprise, there was a couple doing the nasty in the women's restroom and causing quite a scene. I didn't plan on seeing two naked individuals while at an ice house... made me second guess the establishment and the customer base it brought in. Despite better judgement, we grabbed a drink and sat down for a short time. The bartenders were very friendly, the drinks were decent and the live music was good as well but overall this seemed like a place for a rowdier crowd... not us. One drink here was enough for us and we went back to the wine and ale house where it had a bit more of a mature crowd. I'd give this place another chance, but would still probably keep it as a quick stop and not a place to spend the entire evening.

Great News - The Old Main Icehouse in Cibolo, is now reopened. I drive bye there on March 3rd, and it's up and running as of a fire never happened. Check them out soon.

Mainly an outdoor venue. Nice but dress for the weather. Nice bar with wide variety. Families welcome.

The Old Main Icehouse is a great place to check out some live music and get some good drinks. They have food trucks in the back and there are some restaurants down the street. I was there on Saturday October 29,2022 to see my favorite party band called Skunkweed. Skunkweed plays live shows at the Old Main Icehouse at least once a year. If you want to hear some fun and very funny music,Skunkweed is a band you should check out. The only reason I can't give the Old Main Icehouse five stars is because of the fact that you can't hear the music very well in the covered area near the main bar. The covered area needs speakers for the band's music to be heard everywhere. At times the bar has been over crowded and it took way too long to get a drink. Most of the time it's okay. The Old Main Icehouse is a place that everyone should check out in my opinion.

Where to start... it seems very unassuming on first walk up but this is the type of dive bars I love. Spacious. Big selections. Tons of seating. TV's all around! And most importantly. Cheap Strong Drinks! This place did not disappoint and for the prices I'm used to in Austin it was great to go somewhere and not spend $20 bucks for a double! If you're in the area.. get here and get a great atmosphere!

Had a great time. Good vibe and good drinks. Live music was better on Saturday than Friday but both were Texas type country. Good crowd and has an inside and outside bar. Alot of fun.
