This was a fun hidden gem! A Boerne local told us about this place so we decided to go for an after dinner drink. No one was there when we arrived but 4 ice waters were waiting for us! Then shortly after making our drink order tons of people piled in. It was a so fun, delicious well crafted cocktails, and bartenders were super friendly and attentive! Made our girls weekend a fun experience. Will be back for sure! Cheers!

We have been members now for several months. The service is always friendly, warm and paced so well that we now only come to this establishment in Boerne. I am happy to pay for this membership fee if it keeps the staff and quality cocktails allowing fewer patrons so the staff have a living wage or better. We enjoy all of the food, but it is the cocktails that keep us. The bar tenders do an amazing job. If it was open to the public I don't feel they could keep the same welcoming attitude, service and excellence in beverage making as there is with a member fee off setting costs to keep customers happy. Another aspect that we enjoyed and we are willing to pay a fee for, networking. Every time we are there someone knows someone else and with the small tables moved to seat 4 or max 6 you see friends enjoying cocktails and dinner. People making new friends. Networking. Again I don't think this is something you can replicate without a member fee. I encourage you to Join. Be a part of the family.

A speakeasy on top of a restaurant with a bar under it all. BOERNE isn't big enough to appreciate the uniqueness of this venue but time and money will make anything work. J and G are all in, I don't live in Borne but I'm happy to support what they are doing. Wine tasting event this evening was fun. Cheers

Oben is a private cocktail and wine bar. Access is via stairs or elevator - think speakeasy. It's nestled on the third floor of the Richter complex. Ambiance is chic with a heavy Frank Lloyd Wright influence. The owners, Joi and Guy are wonderful hosts. Guy is the artist who did the artwork. Adam is the bartender and mixologist extraordinaire. Two friendly servers provide top-notch service. There are several membership levels with different perks. The food menu includes Richter Tavern offering along with a prix fixe one. Cocktails are spectacular!

The duck fat daq is basically the best daiquiri I've ever had. All throughout the night Adam spent time to educate and talk to us about the drinks he was making. All in all this classy speakeasy is a great spot that's easy to recommend.

We were invited to dine in Oben Friday evening. What an amazing hidden gem. We had already eaten before arriving, and we're looking for an after dinner cocktail. Wow, did they deliver. Gordon was incredibly helpful, and Mike was extremely knowledgeable and makes amazing cocktails. Originals and classics. We'll definitely be back to try the food. The secret (for now at least) nature of this bar definitely adds to the experience. Definitely recommend!
