New York Pizza Pub

I was told about this eatery by my daughter-in-law. So I called to order a pizza (about 5:42pm). Someone answered my call and put the phone down without speaking to talk my order. I called back 6 times and got a busy phone signal. NY pizza website Allowed me to order my pizza online with prepTime from 6:09 to 6:29. I arrived at 6:15ish and was told that online orders are ready after a possible 50 minutes. However, phone orders take 15 minutes less. Go figure!The cashier was uninterested in speaking and providing status. Her voice was low and hard to hear due to the internal music. So I sat down to wait for my pizza! I decided to read Yelp reviews. This locale gotTrashed due to their service. I see it now that I came here for for the first time. I finally got the pizza at 6:32pm. Very underwhelming on service and friendliness.

We finally went back to New York Pizza Pub. It seems to have finally gotten back on track. My only complaint is that the sauce needs to be seasoned. It tasted raw, as if a can of tomato purée was opened and scooped directly on the pizza. They were very busy and seemed to be overwhelmed. This could explain the raw sauce issue. I have always loved this place since moving here in 2011. I hope they get fully back on track.. they actually added two options on their online menu, from my requests: sauce and cheese spread to an inch from the edge; extra sauce. Back in 2011 they were routinely making Pizzas with a two inch or more crust (No sauce and cheese). Hopefully they are back and very successful!

We ran across the place while out exploring the area. We ordered the garlic knots, margarita pizza and a slice of the day. All of it was delicious and the staff was great. We definitely recommend this place. Looks like they have great daily happy hour specials as well.

We wanted to try out a new pizza place in lovely New Braunfels and stumbled on this hole in the wall business. It was easy to find and had decent parking.Once we arrived we were quickly greeted and asked to sit wherever we liked. Our server was great and had a positive attitude. We first ordered the garlic cheesy bread with a side of marinara and ranch. And for our main pizza we ordered the medium Butcher Shop with Mikes Hot Honey Drizzle. It was a little of a wait for everything, but the taste was decent when it arrived and although I love spicy, the drizzle didn't really give the pizza any spice at all, but more of a sweet taste, so that was a little disappointing. With the nice bar like atmosphere, good pizza, and the positive vibes of the waiter, I give this business 4 stars. Will most likely come back to try other pizzas.

Came in for the pizza but just had to order more! Traditional buffalo hot wings were kickin' - we requested for extra crisp and it was finger licking good and spicy This place took BEST OF the BEST 2023 for the Pizza category and we certainly agree! Great cheese pull, wonderful crust and fresh toppings. Would recommend the margarita pizza with tomato slices rather than diced if you like fresh tomatoes.House sale is nice portion, easily shareable between two!Service was great! Great for families Wine selection is limited

We stopped by and tried the food and was delicious! We ordered the med size, which was big in itself, the size of most places large. We ordered half pepperoni and half Supreme, and both were amazing with fresh toppings and flavor. We also ordered the mild chicken wings, which came with a homemade sauce that had great flavor, and the chicken had a nice crunch.The garlic knots are incredible as well. My wife and mother-in-law had the newyork cheese cake with raspberry topping and said it was nice and rich with great flavor. The service was great, and checked on you to make sure your experience was good. Enjoyed this place! A must try.

Service was terrible! pizza was not fabulous! so disappointing. we saw 3 families leave because of waiting so long with several tables open. Don't be in a hurry here it's very slow.

OK, I don't know what's going on in there. But I waited over 10 minutes my buddy and I. Five minutes for somebody to wait on us. Then I had to go to the other section over there to look at about six pizza handlers and ask them if there was anybody working over there. Waited another five minutes. Then I told my buddy that's it. We're done. We're out of here. While I realize these people that are working there behind the bar are on wage and on tips. Something needs to be done. This is absolutely ridiculous. We came in there to watch the football game and have a couple of beers and eat some wings and we got stiffed. And we're regular customers. NOT HAPPY

The service was HORRIBLE!!!! I ordered pizza at 11:16am for a pick up at 6pm. Called the restaurant to confirm they'd received my order and that they would be ready. I get here at 6pm and they haven't EVEN started my order. I get told that it will be a 20-30 minute wait. I asked for the tip back that I'd left on line. The girl at register calls over the gentle that can do. They start making comments about and she looks at me and smirks. Unprofessional and horrible service. I'd cancel my order in full if I didn't have to bring them to a get together. Don't come here if you are on a time line or have to be some where.
