New Braunfels Bakery & Cakes

Lots of options to choose from. I got the cinnamon bread, pineapple empanada and strawberry empanada. Delicious! I had it to go so I warmed it up in the oven toaster. Made it better.

Well-priced bakery items and a variety of sweets! It's a small store in a shopping center that is very close to the i35 exit. This makes it a convenient and quick stop. Once inside, it's easy to be surprised by the tall enclosed shelves of towering bakery items. Empanadas, cookies, conchas, cakes, and other baked goods line the side of the bakery. Up front are smaller cookies in boxes and the other wall has drinks and refrigerated items. Pricing varies $.90 to $1.25 and it's easy to want to grab everything to try. The sausage kolache I ate tasted good and was a little smaller than I had hoped. The hotdog inside was basic and had a sliver of American cheese. The breading reminded me of bolillo bread. Soft, white bread with minimal flavor. It's not bad but also not overwhelming. Therefore, it remains that the pricing, convenience, variety and taste is good but not exceptional. Would I go back? Yee

Best panaderia in New Braunfels. Always fresh pastries. concha's large and small, empanadas, cuernitos . I like that the pastries are protected in a sliding glass door/ window. It's easy to get to. Try to patronize this local business as much as possible

First time and I'm going back soon. Delicious fresh pan Dulce ,my wife loved the empanada de calabasa (pumpkin)

My favorite Mexican bread and pastry spot. They also carry delicious flan and cakes. You must try the chocolate flan cake.

First time visit at it was near our hotel. This little gem was amazingly delicious. The pastries we ordered were prepared with real butter, sugar just the highest of pure delicious ingredients. The crust is unbelievable. The crust is so flaky and scrumptious.

We purchased some pastries for the first time this week. There is a good selection and prices are reasonable. We bought some breakfast bread and apple empanadas. Both were very good. I would like to have had a little more filling in the empanadas. I recommend you give them a try. I'll be back.

We bought 8 different desserts and all of them were dry and no taste. I won't be going back. Very disappointing!

I was in Heaven the second I stepped foot inside the New Braunfels Bakery & Cake! It reminded me so much of the bakery back in my hometown. Their sweet bread (pan dulce) is delicious & goes great with coffee (cafecito). The young man, Gerardo A., and his mom were very polite. The environment was very clean and simple. You get to select the sweet bread you want and they had so many options to choose from! I couldn't help myself and got a piece of everything! I definitely recommend stopping by and everything is fresh and homemade! May God Bless this bakery!!!
