Nadlers my guilty pleasure. I've never been disappointed. I walk in to pick up my placed order and end up leaving with a dozen cookies and a few cupcakes. This is for the ride home. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. Best part... is "made to order". I'm proud to serve at parties. I would love to say I made it. But Mr.Nadler brought his expertise of pastries to America. Staff is great, and it smells sweet, like you'd expect. They don't offer milk substitutes, but they do have coffee and lattes. There is a deli for fresh sandwiches. There's a nice selection of desserts to choose from but nothing I tried stood out in a way that makes me feel strongly about returning. I got a box of mini cookies/variety; chocolate chip cookies; baklava; cannolis; and ordered a red velvet birthday cake from here.

We get all our cakes here never been disappointed. The cakes always delicious. The lobby always clean and employees always nice and helpful.

Highly recommend. I came in from out of state to celebrate a friends birthday & I ordered this custom cake just a few days before. Cake was beautiful, absolutely delicious & their customer service was amazing!

This is an old world style bakery, AMAZING fruit cake. I know I'm probably one of a handful of people that like fruitcake... but it is very good!

I stopped in here recently to pick out a birthday cake. They have an incredible selection of goodies. The person who helped us was so nice and gave us a rundown on all the cake flavors. We ultimately picked a white chocolate champagne cake

We finally got the chance to visit this place that we've been hearing good things about. We came in one Saturday morning for a brunch and the portion size is humongous. We could have ordered less items and just share but we didn't know their breakfast portion/serving per order is a lot. Nothing really outstanding for thier breakfast, lots of choices though even for their lunch menu. What we had for breakfast is not bad but it's just ordinary, nothing really special about it. The highlight of our visit is actually the baked goods they have. Heard people are raving about their cakes, pastries and other baked goods. The chocolate cake we ordered for my cousin's birthday party is good. Although for me personally it's extremely sweet, but it's creamy and actually mouthwatering. If not for the extreme sweetness the cake is actually flavorful and delightful.The lady who took our order by the way was warm and trying her best to still work--not really sure if she's part of the family-owners--but she could have enjoyed retirement already. Her presence though gives character to this family-owned (traditional) bake shop that goes back years and years baking for San Antonio. You'll feel at-home because of her, like visiting a mom-and-pop neighborhood bakery.The other lady who served us our ordered breakfast food was very nice and warm and caring as well.Not a perfect five star-rating for us but the homey-feel of a corner bakery made us decide to give them a four-star rating.To visit again for their cake and pastry is unlikely, since there's really nothing extra-ordinary to make us drive here for it. It's the service and ambience plus their presence in the community that make this place singularly Nadler's.The place look outdated and needs updating including their filthy chairs.

This Bakery has beautiful and delicious cakes! I've had my wedding cake and a baby shower cake done by them and was happy each time. All their other pastries are just as fabulous, especially the eclairs. The staff are also friendly and helpful when asked about the variety of sweets. Placing orders with them is straightforward and easy.

According to a Long time employee Marina who worked with Nadlers over 30 years, she stated Since Alexia's take over, she has changed most of the homemade recipes and are basically box cake, she pays off the health inspectors to get higher marks. It's Always Done "The NadlerWay," whether it's right or wrong!! The kitchen/decorators area is Filthy!!! During the Holidays forget about your Family!! Because according to Management, You Belong to Nadlers!! She has tarnished her Father's Name since taking over! You can get the Same quality from a box cake that you get there.This is a Toxic work environment, Management is EXTREMELY Toxic, the turn over rate is that of a Call center!!! Just don't do it!! Which is covered by recording end text?And?Is documented by a government official.

Came to nadlers I was craving something sweet and they did not disappoint all there pastries were set up nicely and the dinning areas was so cute and cozy will definitely be coming back
