Service is ok not a big whoop .Dining area is nice clean but has wear n tear due to lunch n dinner rush.Food is made to order so comes out fresh n hot Condiments are extra around 50 cents n you get a free soup if you dine in .Do have a tv and plays kids movies which is nice to keep them calm

Solid spot for Chinese food in an area where your options are slightly limited. Great sized portions and amazing prices for 2024!I had the lunch combo plate with Jalapeño Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan, adding in some lo mein noodles. This was all for about $12! I really enjoyed the Jalapeño chicken and definitely recommend it if you like a spicy kick. Prices here are my favorite part. A regular lunch plate is $8.50! It comes with your choice of meat, rice or noodles, an egg roll and a bowl of soup. Great value! There's also a ton of options to choose from. Two slight downsides that I found - one was the food is slightly too oily and two was the lighting in the restaurant kind of sucks. It makes the place look a bit depressing.Overall, great spot to save money and enjoy some tasty Chinese food!

Ordered through Favor App. Upcharged after driver got to restaurant, rangoon was flavorless, fried dumplings weren't fried, and they couldn't be bothered to even put soy sauce in the bag.

Came in search of nachos... left with a full belly, and enough leftovers for a modest light snack. Was it the most authentic Chinese food you'll find that ever existed? Well naw. But it's the west side and the place is named Nachos - you knew exactly what you were getting yourself into. Don't let the dilapidated exterior and dinginess of the building fool you cause you're about to be greeted with a smile and served up their yummy rendition of all the popular Chinese take-out staples you've come to be familiar with. Personally, I've tried their lemon chicken, orange chicken, sesame chicken, and cashew chicken - dang, I definitely do "eat mor chikin" than beef! If you have the time (and pleasure) of dining-in for lunch you'll be presented with the usual soup offerings - hot 'n sour (a little brothier than usual yet decent) or egg drop. Choose an egg roll (basic) or 2 rangoons that are thin yet packed with cream cheese. On to your entree - options, options, options! I feel like everything is made "spicy" here but you can either dial it back or ask them to make you cry - the choice is yours. All in all - I'm both saddened and shocked to say that the sole thing I'll miss about temporarily working way out on this side of town is going to be the easy accessibility of Nacho's Red Dragon.

As a professed introvert and patron of Yelp I'd like to think I've encountered diverse experiences. My journey has led me to places both high and low. In that time I've gone to spots where a jacket is required. To businesses where flip-flops are viewed as the nexus of high fashion. A "Hole in the wall" can be somewhere between that and interchangeable. Which makes a recommendation to "Nacho's Red Dragon" problematic for me. Can people truly overlook a place's lack of ambience or shortcomings in lieu of good food? The era of social media worthy photo ops continues to inform us.The place itself is hidden in the Westside, an area few dare to venture into. It is ultra small with limited parking. If you're hoping to take a selfie in the front of it so you're followers will gasp in jealousy this is not that place. I would also suggest dining in rather than doing take out. The interior is on the rustic, scruffy side. A server with tattoos basically covering all of her body came over to the table. She dropped a few menus and then took my order. Having been here a couple times I usually go with the Chef's Specialty: orange beef. In addition I opt for an extra order of premium beef fried rice and the crab rangoons. (Addition is my middle name even though I'm really bad at math.)In the occasions I have dined here the servers have always come to the table to exchange niceties. When a place is empty this is the optimal time for a business to make a connection to their customer. In each visit the server told me the story of how a family member, of Mexican descent was trained by a Chinese co-worker on how to prepare Chinese food. That's where the name "Nacho's" comes from. To me all food dishes at some point intersect culturally in order to connect people. The cook, the server, service at that point has the final say.As for the food the orange beef was fresh and rich in flavor. The fried rice was warm. And for some reason I can never get enough of their crab rangoons. They are made with a soft, billowy dough meant to be torn open. The portions are considerably healthy. I know this place is not much on the eyes and its exterior is going to dissuade some from coming. I mean, if someone brought you here on a date night I'd probably be suspicious. But if no other intention was it to have good Mexican-American Chinese food then by all means step inside. This small but humble restaurant exemplifies the proverbial "Hole in the wall." Don't expect artwork donated from the Louvre here. Nor a Maitre D showing you which utensils to use. Nacho's Red Dragon is not fine dining, it's good eating. And there's a big difference between the two.

The lemon chicken was amazing, with a good size portion.. the fried rice was ok but was kinda cold and not as fresh as the Chicken. The service I will say three stars in the setting of the restaurant let's chill not very many people.

Absolutely delicious! other than the egg rolls being given a touch of cinnamon that i found was unnecessary everything but ate them anyways everything else was incredible. the order came out to $16 and change but it was worth the money. they give you enough food for at least two people and I ended up eating most of it with a nice big cup of sweet tea. It was so great I even tipped them which is something I never really do for one reason or another. when you catch them on a good day the food is always worth the money. there were no roaches or ants crawling around either like last time. they really took care of business on all points and did what they had to do. if you had a bad experience last time you should consider coming back because now they have finally got all their stuff together and know how to handle business. I couldnt eat everything but got my money's worth from it regardless. I ate most of it so I can't complain. they have redeemed themselves. they also now allow walk-ins inside of their restaurant. they dont deliver anymore and you dont need a mask to enter inside. you are going to get the best from here even if it seems a little high but its worth it in the end because you will leave satisfied.

Best old-school Chinese (Cantonese) I have tried in SATX. Friendly service, fresh, delicious food. Nothing fancy, just perfectly executed classic Chinese.
