This place is the epitome of a mom and pop place! Walking in reminds me of my grandparents house, a warm cozy feel with photos and trinkets lining the walls. I'm always greeted by the very friendly lady working the counter. She talks to me and makes me feel welcome as I wait for my to-go tacos. Their breakfast tacos are full of flavor and delicious! Their flour tortillas are no joke! Super thick and filling. Our tacos were filled to the brim with eggs and potato and cheese. The cheese they use is nice and gooey and lathers everything, and it's awesome. I also love their green salsa! It has a nice little kick. It's very inexpensive and totally worth it. I love supporting local places.

Such a cute mom and pop shop. The food is delicious and fairly cheap which is awesome. And the staff is super friendly. More people should check this place out! Definitely a gem in SA.

Three words: Fresh, Fresh, and Fresh! My mexican omlet was well prepared with fresh cut veggies that were well cooked (a problem I've had at other taco spots) and the flour tortillas were home made and served warm, right from the comal. I don't usually get excited about salsas but this one was particularly fresh, obviously house made, with just the right level of heat. At first, I was confused by the less-than-crispy french fries on my omlet plate but then I recalled hearing about this taking place on breakfast plates in latino homes. A potato is still a potato, even if it's cut like a fry. And this just fortifies the awesome authenticity of the food here. I don't have any true latino buddies that have invited me over for breakfast, but if I did, I bet their mom would serve up something like this. The service was speedy and so friendly and attentive. It was obvious that the regulars here are well acquainted with the hostess. She let me know that they filmed some of the movie Selina here. The restaurant sign used in the movie hangs on the wall.If you know me, you know that I love a good american diner. This place is the closest I've seen yet to a good Mexican diner. It's local, fresh, friendly, and integrated into the community after decades of consistent service. It's the kind of place you can probably sit at for hours over a coffee and never feel rushed to leave. I like it!It does miss the mark on atmosphere, sadly. A good clean and some brightening up would do this place wonders.

I'm giving 4 stars because my wife loved it. I'm the pizza connoisseur and she's the Mexican food connoisseur. She loved it. I ordered chorizo as eggs with potatoes. She had the mug as plate. I didn't care too much for the chorizo and eggs. Very greasy. The potatoes were oversized and undercooked in my opinion. The flour tortillas were meh. The migas looked good. And like I said, I take her opinion on places like this. The waitress was nice. Told us this place was the restaurant where they filmed "Selena". Nice little tidbit and I liked the ambiance. I'd go there again and maybe try something different because I liked the place and the waitress. But skip the chorizo and eggs and if you like your potatoes with a little color then tell them ahead of time.

Just had breakfast at My Little Taco House at 2125 S. Flores & it was amazing. Fresh home made flour tortillas, fresh avocado, perfectly cooked eggs, a salsa verde & rojo to make you salivate. Tortilla Chips also tasted home made. Super sweet owner named Dolly. The building is also where a portion of the Selena movie was filmed and she has fantastic Selena memorabilia. She also shared that times have been difficult, they've been broken into twice and are having few customers. Please stop by and visit this little taco house and share. It's truly delicious and the owner, Dolly, is a delight! Closed on Monday's.

My wife and I discovered this little gem a few months ago. The chef is an awesome cook and his wife, who waitresses, has the most wonderful attitude and is super friendly. We try something new every time we arrive. It is all good. The meats are so flavorful and tender and the tortilla's are delish. I strongly recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyone who wants good Mexican food.

What a great little restaurant!! I always appreciate finding new places that are locally owned and operated. The server was such a sweet and funny lady. She was quick, asked clarifying questions when needed and made us feel like we were in her own home. The tacos that I had were magnificent. Flavorful and filling. They make their own tortillas and those were just simply amazing. I could eat them all the time. The side of rice was also quite good. Prices were super affordable as well. Not a whole lot to say except delicious, everyone should try this place out and I'll be here again soon!

The man of the kitchen made my corn tortillas fresh while the lady of the house told me the Torres story. Outstanding breakfast tacos for a dollar! I added chorizo which brought that to $1.50, so yummy. Don't miss the fresh house-made hot sauce that comes with it, just enough heat, absolutely nothing from a bottle. I opted for takeout, but there are real booths & tables if you prefer to dine in. Open 7a-2:30p, closed Mondays.
