Murf's Better Burger

So the line and it was backed up badly.....So I parked & went inside to order & eat at the outdoor seating area. Steady flow of customer's both in drive-thru & walkin. 1st Time here & not a bad deal for the price ‼Simple Burger with cheese on a bun Nothing fancy schmancy but very decent

i finally visited san antonio after a long time and the first thing i wanted to do was i had to get a cheeseburger and fries it was delicious the lettuce and tomatoes were so fresh eating at Murf's brought so many memories of visiting family and it was bittersweet since 3 of my family members are non longer with usdefinitely will be back

I was so thrilled to see that Murf's offers a veggie burger! And it's only $4! It did not disappoint. It came with lettuce tomato and mayo, and then I added diced onions, pickles, and cheese. I wanted to try both sides--so I got a cheesy fry, and also some onion rings. The cheesy fries were smothered and delicious, perfectly salted. A large portion is only $3.50. The onion rings were crispy and light, very fresh and melt-in-your-mouth good. The drive thru line was long, for good reason. People are willing to wait for something locally made with love, for one heck of a deal! The drive-thru attendant was super bubbly and sweet, and thorough in double checking my order. Love the retro sign and exterior paint job, too! Can't wait to come back.

Seen a "Reel" on Insta about $2 burgers today and we figured let's go! We ordered Burgers, Onion rings, and a drink and it was a great low cost lunch! The burgers are great here and for $2 a no brainer. Now this is not gourmet, it's drive in fast food quality and priced accordingly. If you are in the area, Id say hit it up and grab a bite you can go wrong. It is however, not so damn good you gotta drive to it from across town. We were served up fast, food was freshly cooked. On a final note, the drive through was always packed and onto the street.

First time here. My boyfriend used to frequent when it was the original owner. He said they were the best burgers in San Antonio back then so I had to try them out since I'm in the area often. The burger and onion rings were good. Definitely for the price. It was great, but I felt like my bun was a little overcharred (middle of it was black). The patty was thin but meat was seasoned well. The onion rings were tasty just a bit much better for me. Overall was a good experience & i would try again.

i would not waste your money here. burgers and fries have no taste. after adding salt you think it would taste better but no... it doesn't. they have a $2 special and it's worth the two dollars.... nothing more. food takes a long time and doesn't even come out hot.

I've always seen Murf's when driving in SA and it has usually has been the butt of jokes amongst friends simply because of the name. I finally tried it, more at my husband's insistence because of their Thursday $2.45 burger special. The burger was just ok, not much flavor and the bun seemed as though it was taken directly out of the bag and not warmed up. I would say it is a step below Whataburger but that isn't saying much because I don't think WB is as good as it used to be. The crinkle fries were a generous portion but they tasted as though they had been cooked in old oil.Drive thru service was fast and friendly.Overall, it was ok for the special price but I don't plan to return.

best mom and pop joint to spend your hard earned money ! their burgers are great and affordable, especially if your feeling a family ! every time we go it is always good and fresh and hot made to order !

Murfs burger are a classic! Good service and Good food. I'm glad Murfs is still sticking around. Definitely a go to place if you're looking for a good burger and fries! And still enjoy the classic look!

this place is amazing, the food is always great. However the customer service here is the worst. we use to be regulars but we decided to stop coming due to the lady in the drive thru. she is very rude. it seems as if she does not like her job? I really don't understand what her issue is. she always has AirPods in which is super unprofessional to me. It makes me kinda sad because I love the food here, but lately we've been going to Whataburger. at least the customer service there is never bad.
