Hands down, this is an amazing restaurant! The soul Rolls were very unique and flavorful. I had the fried chicken, which reminded me of Sunday dinner at my grandparents house. It was amazing! The Cabbage was so good, I was hoping for more but they were all sold out, so others in the restaurant felt the same way, I did. The last highlight was the customer service, specifically Ariel. She was amazing, nice, pleasant and handled herself so professionally when faced with a difficult customer. Her calmness diffused the situation so quickly and the difficult customer entire attitude changed, to happiness. Great job!! Again, please visit this restaurant!!

The food was mediocre and served in to go boxes. I felt like they preferred customers to not eat in. The one server was nice enough but needed help as the crowd grew. The room was extremely cold from the moment you walked inside and they had an additional box fan going with the frigid air conditioner. I could not enjoy my food because I was shivering. In fact, I could not wait to get out of there!

OMG ...the best fried catfish EVER. Along with that, yams (just the right amount of sweetness) & fried okra (breaded perfectly) - nothing tasted like heavy fried (like some places often do) then a lady came in & said I had to try the liver & onions - sooo guess what I brought home for dinner... & oh yeah a cream cheese pound cake for dessert. Tonya (sp?) waitress was quick, polite & friendly. The place was super clean with biblical scriptures hanging on the wall (my kind of place )- this place is definitely blessed & I felt triple blessed by the restaurant, the staff and food!

I had 3 piece fried chicken smotherd rice and green beans corn bread. Everything was Hot and very well seasond. And tea total price 17.00.It all came in styrofoam I would prefer a plate for this price. I will be back...Should change name. MR PRETTY DARN GOOD KITCHEN

WOW!!! Where to begin?I had the fried chicken with collards and dirty rice. Fried chicken - 9.9/10Collards 9/10Dirty rice, 8/10My friend had the meatloaf, mac & cheese sandwich with yams and his mind was blown!We then had the Kentucky butter cake, which was probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and gave great recommendations. I can't wait to come back and try the ribs, and the oxtail, and the catfish and, and, and .....

Good fried chicken and cornbread. For $11.99 for two piece chicken and two sides that comes with cornbread, I think it's a great deal. First one to arrive when it opened on a weekend. There is a wait time but it's to be expected since they make everything fresh. Gravy was just finished and tasted strange. I don't know if it's because the gravy was so hot it was melting the styrofoam and I was just eating the melted chemicals instead. Mac N Cheese could taste cheesier also. But their cornbread was really good.

Very yummy and the service is great! I ordered oxtail, "soul rolls" fried okra, mac/cheese. Full of flavor and I had some pound cake! Stop by you may need a wheelbarrow lol! The portions are huge as well.

Food was delicious and service was nice. Best fried chicken in town!!!! Fried pork chop and Mac & cheese were good. I've had better greens but not bad. Definitely will be back!!!!
