The food was great and the restaurant was clean/nice. Our experience was good too until we got the check. Our server Eduardo, or as he likes to call himself "Jose" who has orange curly hair and clear braces, failed to inform us of the amount we'd be charged for the steamed buns. It was our first time there and we wanted 1 pork belly bun, but after I ordered just that, he said it came with 4 and to pick 3 more. So we looked at the different flavors and ordered more. He NEVER said what we ordered was a bun flight for $20. And worse, he let us order buns that weren't even on the flight so he charged us $5/bun. Outrageous. Overall, great food and atmosphere, but "Jose" is a crook.

Delicious! First, do yourself a favor and go during happy hour to get the bun flight, which was the highlight of the meal. After that, there are many great options to choose from for entrees. My cilantro-lime-soy noodles was absolutely amazing; filling with just the right amount of spice! And don't forget the drinks-- I was thrilled to find a Yuzu Ginger Non-Ale as a unique option but they have a great cocktail list too. For kids, there is a simple kids menu sure to appeal to even the pickiest eaters.Ambience is casual and there was ample space for both smaller and larger parties. Definitely worth the stop!

Ken with Offline - As a 15 year plus downtown resident, this is our backyard. With 30 plus years in the hospitality field (now retired) I feel I can bring you real insight into our locations. The good, the bad and the ugly. If we run across a serious issue, I will always go directly to management and not post it. I truly believe you always must give management an opportunity to correct a serious issue. If not corrected and or just ignored, then I feel it is correct to inform the public - professionally. No establishment is perfect. I will bring to you smaller hiccups we may have come across. I will rarely comment on the taste of food - being bad, as that is a very personal thing. My wife and I disagree on taste of food and wine, no one is wrong or right. Now if the food is on fire, burned, under/overcooked to our requests, that would be mentioned. I'm always here for general downtown questions and possible recommendations.Hey, you can find good food at strip centers! We drove out to Ming's at La Cantera to meet friends. Don't judge a book by its color. All four of us really enjoyed the meals. Large portions for the price point. It was about half full, but we had no issues chatting/ambience. Not that the dessert was bad, let's just call it different! Rice pudding. One of our peeps ordered an old fashion. Typically, you get a cherry and if you're lucky a Maraschino cherry. It wasn't a cherry and to be frank, none of us are sure what it was. Would we go back, we sure would - food was super.Picture is dessert

Finally decided to give this place a try. Definitely was avoiding because it sounded like an upscale Panda Express. Thought it'd be more authentic but another asian fusion place. It does have happy hour drinks + food. Decided to try old fashioned and margarita. They did accommodate for less sugar but I didn't taste any lychee flavor in the ming's margarita as advertised. The big rock in the old fashioned was neat. food: not great... came in a bowl. Side salad, protein and rice. The other stuff on the menu such as noodles etc, they want you to add a protein. Then the price becomes $$$$. I don't think it's worth the price. Tasted ok... nothing specialWaitress was attentive and quick. Checked on us a few times. I'd try this place if you haven't but I'd go to other asian restaurants before coming back here.

Placed an order through Uber eats and food was delicious and packed with care. All items were labeled. There was seasoning and hints of spice throughout. Would definitely eat again and hope to go in person. Portions are perfect for a single serving not too much or little.

GUYS, this place is beyond delicious! It was so great to meet the woman behind the name of the restaurant, Ming! When you walk in you are greeted with beautiful artwork & an open room. You go up to the order counter, order your food & take a number. Seating is open & you pick where you want. Then they bring out food to you. They were SO quick with delivering food & everything was incredibly tasty. The hype is worth it! I cannot wait to come back, and I cannot wait to see how Ming's evolves.

Clean spacious restaurant that appears to do both counter serve and full service. Full service is in the back, by the bar and bathrooms. For counter service, you literally order at the register first, then apparently you'll get a number and you select a table to sit at.They offered us full service, stating that they had a staff member currently undergoing training. Actually, our waitress did a fantastic job explaining the menu, suggesting menu items, and explaining the food that came out. We also inquired about the pin (similar to the dragon on the menu), and she told us that those were for sale for $10 each. The pin identical, except that the dragon is green instead of white. Also, when you finish your business in the bathrooms, and exit back out, you'll see some embroideries hanging on the wall, which is a nice touch.Getting back to the food, we opted for the Crispy Shrimp Dumplings, which consist of two pieces each of 3 dumpling shapes. They have crispy shells, a nice shrimp filling and are tied closed with a fried green onion. It came with a nuoc cham dipping sauce. For buns, we found that the Smoked Pork Belly Bun, Thai Shrimp Bun, and Summer Noodle Bun were hits. We didn't really enjoy the Bulgogi Bun with cheese, because it was quite literally a burger meat chunks, which was an interesting cop out for bulgogi. The Smoked Pork Belly was thick cut, and the Shrimp bun contained two large shrimp.Payment could be accomplished by QR code, allowing for a speedy exit back into the spacious parking lot across from Six Flags Fiesta, and this time, the line to La Panderia in the same plaza ended up being much shorter.

The restaurant is really nice and clean and they have a bar tucked into the back and kind of separated from the main dining. The server was great and attentive and made recommendations when asked. The plates were beautiful...we had shrimp crispy dumplings, shrimp miso ramen and teriyaki chicken bowl. We both liked the dumplings, but both of us thought our main dishes were just ok. I may go back and try something else...or I may not when there are so many other great choices near by.

I was a little shocked by this place. It's not common that I dislike a meal so much I can't finish it. I love beef Bulgogi so I ordered the bowl, to my surprise the meat tasted like a smashed burger patty. The rice had an awful taste, I could not eat it. I also got the bao Belly buns which were not bad but not memorable. The staff is really friendly, I didn't say anything about the food but instead walked over to La Panadería afterwards.

Work colleagues recommend I try this place out. The place is nice, cleaned. Got seated quickly and the hostess sat me and my party near the window. Kid you not it's cold and it was raining. So I was shivering just sitting near there. Took awhile for a server to come get our order. It wasn't busy or anything at all. Ordered the Thai curry noodle soup, teriyaki bowl with an egg and the bun with the happy hour dumplings. It's a bit pricey. Just because I didn't know the shrimp that I thought was included in my order cost extra (didn't even know my soup came with no protein). No fountain drinks. Just off brand of drinks. They do serve alcohol but wasn't to my liking. Will come back to try other food.
