Miguel's Country Kitchen

I had a very enjoyable breakfast here and the service was very good. I will come back and will reccomend this place especially for a delicious breakfast.I had the Country Breakfast. It was delicious, filling and priced great. Breakfast is a very important meal :)

We enjoyed a quiet breakfast. Food was tasty and came out fast. The employees were courteous and attentive. Price was good. Tortillas are homemade and delicious. Old school place, looks like its been there a good while.

Ate breakfast and enjoyed my huevos rancheros very much as did my husband. Our friends had migas and also enjoyed them. Not a fancy place but the food was great. also Miguel was very helpful and friendly.Will return.

This place is pretty bad mainly because the owner was very passive aggressive and blatantly rude. We walked out after not feeling comfortable with the atmosphere and he walked after us to tell us we shouldn't have come in to begin with. I told him that it is our right to choose. He then told us in a very sarcastic voice that God needed to bless us because we really needed it. I asked him if he was Miguel and when he confirmed he was the owner I let him know I'd be writing a review.

HORRIBLE!!! My husband and i both spit our food out into napkins at some point..Potatoes were a piece of grease, barbacoa was disgusting place feels dirty. They are lucky they are one of the only restaurants around for breakfast but none the less we will never be back. also think we were overcharged but at that point just wanted to get out of there so i didnt question it

Horrible from the moment I walked in. Miguel was rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant. Didn't even get a chance to try the food. If I'm paying my hard earned money to go out to eat I want it to be a treat not only in the food I eat but in the service I receive.

I eat breakfast almost every morning. The tacos are great and good size. My coffee cup is always full and so am I when I leave. Could use a remodel but hey, you know what the say in Texas, "the best food comes out of dive restaurants and taco trucks".

My husband and I were really hungry and there isn't many places to eat. The next town is about an hour away. We walked in and the place smelled like a laundry. It looked like there was a shrine to loved ones passed in the middle off the restaurant. There were TVs in every corner. We could sit anywhere but the tables we wanted were dirty. We sat in the back. We were informed that our food would take a half hour because it was busy. While we were waiting, a movie started playing. The opening scene was of three people having sex. It's not family friendly at that point. We ordered Orange juice and got it in a bottle. I'm thinking' "really?" I ordered heuvos rancheros overeasy and my husband ordered pancakes. The huevos rancheros were good. The refried beans are homemade. They were okay. The tortillas were hot and awesome. We ordered more. The bacon was okay and the potatoes were okay. My husband said that his pancakes were good. We left with a $19 bill but we had to hunt the check down. I honestly wouldn't go back. My husband said he'd go back because the price is right.

The food is very expensive and very little food. Then one of grandkids found a roach cooked in his pancake.

Ive been here before and the food was not bad for the price, but when we left I felt like we had been over charged but didn't look into it. Today I went back with family and decided to keep track of what we ordered. This is what we had 4.99 enchilad6.99 club sandwich4.99 enchilada1.50 tea1.50 dr. P1.50 dr. PPotato & bacon x2 @ 1.5024.47He was charging us $30. Ok not too bad but i asked him how he was getting that amount and he goes on to tell me the tacos are $2.50 because we didn't order them the way its printed on the menu. Ok whatever 2.50 so Now I'm at 26.47. So I ask again sir how are you coming up with $30. I wasnt irrate or rude i was just calmly asking and he says i dont have to explain anything to you, and then he goes on to ask you think that to go plate is free, very loudly. I said sir im just asking and he says just give me $20 and he didnt want to serve me anymore. I said thats fine I wasnt coming back.lesson here keep track of your order and be sure he doesnt over charge.
