My husband and I were on a waiting list for a restaurant downtown but had not eaten all day, so we shared the asada tacos. Very tasty and authentic! Great gem in downtown SA.

The tacos had good flavor and plenty of sides/toppings to make them how you like it! I found them at the Official Fiesta Event: A Day in Old Mexico and Charreada. They had a continuous line and offered their full menu. It came out to ten dollars a plate for the mini tacos plate of four.To be frank. I couldn't really tell the difference between bistec and asada. I think the tacos were great in flavor, just kinda lacked that overall push of wow factor for more stars. The pineapple was kinda soggy and the cilantro could have been fresher. I think these made a great snack for the event, but was expecting so much more! I felt the meat amount was lackluster and the corn tortillas were miss-matched. Some were perfect and some were dried on the edges and such. I hope to try a better performance next time I see this food truck here in San Antonio.

Their main staples are mini street tacos, but they also have quesadillas, tripas, churros, soft pretzels, and fresh squeezed lemonade. You can choose from pollo, asada, al pastor, or veggies in the mini street tacos and the quesadillas. The street taco plate is $9 and comes with four tacos, pineapple pico de gallo and traditional pico de gallo (each are on the side). I had the asada street tacos and put the pineapple pico on two of them and the traditional pico on the other two. Before I did that though, I taste tested the unadulterated asada, and I can attest it was so moist, tender, and wonderfully marinated. I almost tore these bad boys up without any pico, but that would have been a lame review, so I tried each pico. Both were scrumpdillyicious, but my favorite had to be the pineapple pico. $9 might sound expensive for four mini tacos, but we all know these gourmet style food trucks are a bit pricey. There's usually a reason for that though - fresh, quality ingredients, and a lot of love goes into these delectable creations. And we all know love ain't cheap folks!I found this food truck at a special event at La Villita a while back, so I'm not sure if they have a regular spot, or if they move all around town. They might have a FB page, so look for them there if you choose to seek them out. Find this food truck soon, and show a locally owned business your love!

I'm sorry but it was not worth the money. The taco meat did not have any flavor it was bland and the quesadilla had just cheese and hardly any meat , when I was told it would be loaded.

I was charged 18.00 for 4 mini tacos and a drink. Which is far from what the menu says. The food was not fresh, the Al pastor was bland , the corn tortillas were soggy and there was a long black hair in my grilled onions. Sure there are several better options.

If you happen to come across this food truck, stop and consider whether or not you could use a meal or a snack immediately. That's what my family and I did during a late night out in San Antonio; as of February the truck was still making regular appearances at San Fernando Cathedral.Food trucks are of course as good as their small crew, and in this case that crew was fantastic and super nice. One of my family members loves food in general, and so always asks a LOT of questions about it before ordering. The staffers were very patient and were happy to answer said family members' questions. They were able to talk with us during a quiet moment in the evening too, and were very interesting to talk to!Ultimately, as amazing as their entire menu looked, my family ended sharing a quesadilla as a late snack; no reason to overdo it when a single dish was large enough to go around! That massive quesadilla was pretty darn excellent, I must say - it was stuffed full of multiple varieties of cheese, some meat and some vegetables; combined with the freshness of the ingredients and the side of fresh homemade pico de gallo, and I was in heaven as I munched on my cheesy snack.Should I return to San Antonio and spot this food truck, I plan on making a repeat visit. They're a perfect example of a food truck done well, and both the staff and the food was a memorable addition to a lovely night out with my family.

Stopped by a food truck at La Villita. Prices are reasonable. Tacos good; I got combo of chicken and beef of 4 tacos together. Beef was my favorite out of the two. Churros was interesting. I'm not used to churros with fillings and they are big portions but delicious! Enough to share among 2 to 4 adults. Would recommend for a quick bite if you're in the area of San Fernando Cathedral or at La Villita.
