McIntyre's North Star

Stopped by to hang out as a couple early evening hours on a Saturday in February. Good outdoor seating area. Heaters worked great. The crowd looked like San Antonio- a little of everyone. Drinks were ok.Will come back.

Went for an event last night. Everything was great. All the staff members were super friendly. I took my dog and we were able to sit outside and it was warm because they have heating elements around the outside patio. I did go during happy hour. Every day they have different specials. This is a bar, but they do have a restaurant inside that sells pizza. It's called urban bricks. It is my understanding that previously they had a hot dog place, so I am assuming they changed based on when the contract is over. They have plenty of seating inside and out. Prices are reasonable. Parking is available on site and there's plenty of it.

Had the chance to check out McIntyre's North Star location (one light after the infamous cowboy boots) and I have to say I was pretty intrigued about the whole layout. This is more of a higher end sports bar with a plethora of tvs inside and out on the patio. The large tv screen outside reminds me of the vegas pool downtown with that mega screen. The audio is focused on the main game played but there are four additional games playing on the big screen. The screen size is massive y'all, felt like we were at a drive thru theater. You'll also spot a few tvs outside and all throughout the bar inside.What impressed me was how much attention they spent having it appeal to everyone.Dog parents. Check.Lounge sitters. Check.Bar tops and picnic benches. Check.Throw in the ample seating, bumping beats and killer songs in-between commercials, solid bar bites from Urban Bricks Pizza and you're setup for success.There's a few servers who walk around and take your order, but you can definitely go to the bar and place an order.I wish the non-alcoholic drinks were as cheap as the actual drinks but that's a small thing in the bigger picture. Let's just say that the next time I'm visiting San Antonio and I have to go watch sports, I'll ask them to at least bring me here.

This is a great spot to grab some drinks and relax with friends. This venue has a variety of drinks with a laid back atmosphere. Everyone from the staff to the patrons are friendly. McIntyres is conveniently located near the airport, and North Star mall. If you are hungry grab some pizza, or wings to go along with your drinks. The food here is amazing as well. Great place to watch the game! I will be back.

Music was cool, definitely will try it out again. We sat at the bar and immediately received service. Wine was good sf. My friend ordered a margarita pizza but it wasn't all that. Overall a great experience

When they say everything is big in Texas, this is the spot to come to good people who will care or should I say great people who work through help you out what you need. Great spot to watch sports.

So much fun and they have a Photo Booth. Great drink prices and they have urban bricks pizza right inside! Also has an awesome patio !

Chill place with good drinks and good vibes! Second time we've been. We will be back for sure!

Fun atmosphere with great sized TVs. Perfect to watch games! Can't wait for march madness!!!!They also have sandwiches/wings/fried which were pretty good. They have fried and grilled options for all chicken options and they also have non alcoholic beverages which was perfect for trivia night during dry January! Look forward to coming back

I checked this place out because I wanted to watch sports at a cool spot. I got there before 12pm on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking available. I got the old town bacon wrapped hot dog and cheese tots with jalapeños and bacon. All the food was delicious and satisfying. The Bad Santa cocktail was a nice treat. I also received excellent customer service during my visit. The reason I can't give them five stars is because of the loud music. All I wanted to hear was the football game. They were hard pressed to quickly go back to the music as soon as a commercial started. They would go back to the game as soon as the commercials were over. I wish they just keep the sound on the game instead of constantly changing it to music at the first opportunity.
