Obie, the cashier great customer service very great customer service. There was a customer with a mental illness that kept changing her order and he was very, very patient and polite to the young lady. Also to myself. I always appreciate the service at this restaurant. Everyone is always very professional and very polite. Thumbs up.

I've been to this location before so surprised at service here today. Food was good as usual. However, food took so long in coming out I had to ask for a to-go container because I simply couldn't stay any longer. I think they were just short staffed. But the person working the register just kept smiling and kept her composure despite the long line and dealing with to-go orders. Kudos to her!

My husband and I went to this restaurant yesterday and the items that were bought are: 1. French Dip 12"(Dry and tasted stale), Fresh Fruit (Pineapple, Honeydew, and Cantaloupe (?), but, it was kinda hard and sour).2. Angus King Club w/ Pepper Jack Cheese3. Smores Cookie (receipt says Smores but, the lady said it was a Snickerdoodle).4. Chocolate Chip Cookie5. Large (Lemonade & Unsweet Tea w/ Black Cherry syrup). It's so hard to think that the sandwiches were not good because, we go there a few times within a month or so, and we've loved the food in the past but, from what we ordered last night, we are having a hard time thinking if we're going back to this location. I also checked the bag with the items in it, and they made a mistake by not including the French Dip sandwich until I said something. Thank goodness, I looked into the bag. We didn't even finish our food because, it didn't taste good and the fruit I paid $0.70 extra for tasted stale and was hard to chew (kinda like it was unripe, and the pineapple was sour).Our bill was $46.65 and it was already expensive for two sandwiches that didn't taste well at all.

I am happy with the results of several trials here. Presentation is wonderful. Hot and cold sandwiches are great and ingredients are plentiful. The half sandwich or wrap with a side salad or soup is yummy. Many side options. Friendly service and a clean environment for dining in.

Ok, so this location was doing great, but this is the second time in a week they have sent an incomplete order and also added a dietary restrictive item that was requested to not be added. Tomatoes are deadly to renal patients. I am quite sure they would not accept incomplete payment, and no one wants to wait for their incomplete meal. Then, get part of it and have to now try and get food another way and wait longer. Before the snark responses start, you don't know anyones circumstance, and they may have no one to get food for them, so paying for the service one would expect the service to be fulfilled. This should not be too much to ask. Let's say it's getting to common place to not have pride in the work or service provided.

The cashier was friendly yet service was very slow. I ordered a southwest chicken salad, and a sweet tea lemonade & waited 12 minutes for my order, half of that time BTW, my order was sitting in the window behind the cashier ready to go. However, she was busy & the woman coming out of the back looked over at me waiting & walked to a different part of the restaurant twice. Not once did that woman ask if I needed assistance or if I was waiting for my food. The seasoned grilled chicken was a disappointment, it was thicker, chicken lunch meat that I could have bought myself at HEB or Walmart . The chili lime dressing was good at 1st but either too sweet or too acidic, either way, it left a sour aftertaste in my mouth. There was barely any poblano & black bean relish on my salad & the entire thing being on a bed of mixed greens was a joke. There were a few pieces of darker, leafy greens in my salad, the rest was iceberg lettuce. I have not eaten at McAllister's in years & remember nothing but great food the last time I ate there. Very, very disappointed in my food today, especially for a salad that costs $11.50. I can get a way better salad at H-E-B for half the price or a way better salad at Whataburger for still less than what I paid today. Then, the cashier made sure to give everyone that was before me & all those that came after me in line their drinks right away. She finally handed me my salad & said have a nice day, & I had to ask her for my drink. I will not be returning. Thank you.

The service was good. The potato was terrible. I ordered the Spud max minus ham and there was nothing "max" about this spud. Definitely didn't look anything like menu which I never really expected it to but this was laughable. I also ended up picking out the processed "turkey" pieces.

An empty parking lot should have clued me in, but I only had 30 mins so I decided to stop in. There is no excuse for a dirty restaurant. The sitting area had no clean tables, trash on the floor, food crumbs abounded. The air conditioning wasn't even working. This appears to be a relatively new place so I find that strange. The restrooms had no soap, overflowing trash.... The workers were just standing around chitchatting- one appeared to be in a manager role. I don't recommend this place!!!
