Apparently this is the place for breakfast in Gonzales Texas and my fellow yelpers haven't alluded me wrong!! So instead of the free hotel breakfast we came here and glad that we did!! once we arrived by the hustle and bustle of the parking lot, we new that it was going to be good!! so we enter the establishment and we hit the line? not knowing how the drill was we were at a stand still for a couple of minutes till we finally asked? Yes line up behind the last person and wait your turn to order (to go or to stay) once you ordered, find a place to sit most tables clear up quickly, no numbers and no names they get your order to you!!our order two Barbacoa tacos and two Migas al la Mexicana and two 16oz Dr. Peppers from fridge in the front as you walk in.The (hefty) Barbacoa taco very very good!! just right not to dry or oily, and the M.a M.also very very good!! and the salsas the red just for taste, but the green!! oh yeah!! that's the wow factor!! only wish I had more, to kick the very annoying slight hangover out of my head?!?!

The good - Service was good, food was ok, but not great. The idiotic Bad - Who charges for tap water??I went up to pay and she asked me what we had to drink. I said water, she said what size? Puzzled, I again said "Water"! She said what size? I asked you charge for "water"? She said yes! Just to make a point, this was not bottled water, spring water or anything special. She looked over at our table and said .75 per cup. Note: When ordering a water, it was never said that we would be charged, nor were we asked what size we would like!!!Not that the food was worthy of a return trip anyway, but for poor business practiceswe will never be back!!

Stellar breakfast tacos. They are all over the tacos. You know they got it when there's a line of cars in the drive thru AND nearly every parking spot is taken. It's a humble place with great texmex. Don't drive past it. Stop order and enjoy. I love their special taco with chorizo!!!! The carna guisada taco is ootw!!! Service is on point for this great little place in gorgeous Gonzalez Texas.

Stopped in for breakfast tacos. Adequate but not great. The coffee is too weak to call it coffee. Busy business but there has to be better tacos in Gonzalez, TX.

I found this nice restaurant while searching on Yelp, while on the road headed to the Texas coast. Really liked the Mexican Plate! Nice staff and I loved the colorful tablecloths. Homemade tortillas, salsa verde and chips - yum.

Remodeled from an old gas station, the place looks to small and not so appealing. But the mouthwatering smell of food from outside will draw you in. Great food! You order at the counter and they bring you chips and salsa after you choose your seat. Food comes out quickly. A must if you are in the area!

My business colleague and i went through the drive thru and ordered 2 mexicano megas tacos with green sauce and a chicken enchilada plate with a side of sour cream. Paid the 20. and cents, handed a 100.00 bill received the change and food and left. we work and live out of town. When we arrived at our destination out of town, we did not receive the correct enchilada plate, instead of chicken we got cheese. With the inconvenience of having to stop at a drive thru, i would expect the food the way i ordered it. It is the responsibility of the one who reads the order, and puts the food in the to go box to ensure its correct. This simply did not happen. The girl repeated my order 2 times, so it is not her fault. We were told they had great food, but will never know that with the customer service like this. I will NOT be returning. YOU DONT GET A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION!!

I drove up and parking lot was full so imagined food had to be decent. Sat at a table and waited for awhile and waitress never came to table so I opted to order at counter . I ordered the guisado plate. Price was average if it would have been edible. I can say the chips were warm and fresh and salsa was decent. The guisado on the other hand was large chunks of fatty meat in a dark chocolate colored sauce with a gritty taste. it came with rice and beans and a scoop of guacamole. It was a miss on all the sides as well. I can't speak for any of their other items as I was just passing thru.

Food was not that good and over priced. The quesadilla didn't even have a price on the menu. When I asked the waitress she said it was around $8. The menu described it coming with taco meat or fajita meat. I didn't get a check and instead had to go to the register and list all the food we ordered. It was more expensive than I expected and when I checked it was $8 per quesadilla plus an extra $3 for the meat. Considering the cheese in the quesadilla seemed to be the consistency of nacho cheese, I'm not sure how it could be eaten without the meat or how they could charge $8 for 2 tortillas and nacho cheese.
