want to give a shout out to Mario's Bakery. 5 things.. 1.service 2. parking 3. easy access to Hwy 90 4. ambiance a be number 5. price. I've visited 6 different bpanadería in the last month n Mario's has the freshest and softest sweet bread and the lowest price $0.80 cents vs $1.35 everywhere else. $0.55 cents cheaper and a lot better n fresher bread. I hope they continue with these prices . After this research I will travel an extra 6 miles but it is well worth it. Elder Shalom

This was my first time here. I am not really a donut fan., but when I like a doughnut, I like a doughnut. This is my first time trying the doughnut from this bakery. It was amazing. Probably one of my most favorite donuts. I will definitely be back!

Upon entering, I was greeted with a cheerful "Hola!" The display case was filled with delicate and delicious looking pastries, made fresh in the wee-hours of the morning! They also have wonderful freshly made, home-made flour tortillas for $3/dozen. (YUM!) I picked several items, multiples of some, and filled a large bag full to the top with many different things. It was clean and neat inside the store. I will be back, and I recommend a visit from anyone who is looking for authentic Mexican bakery! I filled a large bag to the top, and added a pack of tortillas, and it was only $12 for everything that I selected! Home made goodness. YES!

Just driving by.. tried a couple of pastries.. very good/ reasonably priced . Will drop by again.

Best Mexican pastries in San Antonio that I've tried. Excellent prices, always fresh. The conchas are a real treat, always pillowy soft. My two year old devoured his first one this weekend. The piggy cookies, molasses based, are amazing here.Basically try anything and everything. We are never disappointed, and gladly drive from castle hills to grab a bag of goodies. Totally worth the 25 minutes it takes.

Found this place recently and it is the best. Concha's were soft, even a day or two later. Will be back even though it's 30 minutes across town.

i have been coming here ever since i was a lil kid and they have always consistently been one of the best bakeries in san antonio! very authentic mexican taste!

This bakery was very clean and had a huge variety of sweet bread. It even had cakes and tortillas. Unlike other bakeries, everything we bought was soft and fresh. We will definitely be back.
