We never sit down here to eat but I can vouch on their service/system of ordering/and quality of food via drive thruSuper efficient and kind staff, quick to take an order and bring it out. Me and my partner really enjoy the guiso tacos and potato and egg tacos. Always ask for extra green and red salsa bc they're fire!

Mama Margie's has been like a family member to me since moving to San Antonio back in '05. It got me through college, 100%. I was fueled by bean & cheese tacos & the free chips & salsa bar. If you are on a super tight budget, this is the place to come. And it's open 24 hours!? It's always lively & hoppin. You might catch karaoke night, or a big game, it's almost always busy. But regardless of how packed it is, your food will come out FAST. It's always delicious, and always consistent. They have two lanes in the drive thru which I use frequently. I can order a couple of tacos and be in and out with my order before the song on the stereo has ended. Their queso is so good, and the margaritas are great. Making it a great spot to hang out with friends and family. Their guacamole is superb. Ask for the 8oz. Quesadillas are a hit. The tacos are a smash. Love the breakfast tacos, too! Their eggs are always cooked perfect. The coffee is self serve and you can refill. It's awesome. ¡Viva Mama!

This was our first time at Mama Margie's, a place my neighbors recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my wife ordered the chicken quesadillas. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Our food was fantastic. Our portions were very generous and I could not finish everything on my plate and we took home half of my wife's plate. We drove all the way from Boerne just to try their restaurant. We highly recommend you do the same, give them a try, we know you will enjoy their food too.

I don't know why I don't go to Mama Margie's more often, from soups to tacos and the amazing warm chips with a variety of dipping salsas, they are the best. There is nothing better than a bowl of soup, chips and a frozen margarita... except for one off their tacos!!! it all good there for sure!!!

Average TexMex, but nothing more.I've had Mama Margie's takeout once or twice before and thought it was alright at best, but at the request of a friend who really loves this restaurant I decided to go have a meal there in person. It's a decent sized establishment with its interior walls painted the craziest neon colors I've seen at a restaurant. You can either order at a cashier run register or at a kiosk at the front. Just make sure to pick up your drinks from the front register if you order at the kiosk, because they don't place them on your tray with the rest of your order. A few of the tables were a little messier and the floor could have been swept, but it was still on the cleaner side.I ordered the Cheese Enchilada Plate (with no tomatoes) and two Corn Tortillas. After a single bite of the Tortillas, I did not bother to finish them. They were bland discs of cornmeal bordering on a strange soggy grossness, and after trying my friend's Flour Tortillas I regretted having not ordered them instead. Though I typically prefer corn tortillas, and these Flour Tortillas were by no means one of the better flour ones I've had, this was the way to go. The Enchiladas were about the same quality of those at Taco Cabana, but I found myself enjoying these less so than the alternative. The cheese and sauce were average with minimal flavor, the Beans and Rice took up over half of the massive plate and also followed suit on the flavor profile, and though I didn't finish everything on the plate I didn't feel compelled to try. My friend ordered the Mexican Plate (with no onions) which came with an overwhelming amount of Beans and Rice as well, alongside a Cheese Enchilada and crunchy beef Taco. I am curious about the Taco as it was deemed better than the Enchilada albeit not by much, but not enough as to go back to pick one up.Though this restaurant wasn't bad, I'd recommend going elsewhere if you're craving TexMex. It's filling but average, and the food in-house is not much better than the takeout. If you do decide to go however, make sure to pick up extra napkins as the food is on the messier side.

I've been here several times for their barbacoa tacos. The tacos are good and made to order. However, they are WAY too expensive based on the size and amount of food you get. The benefits of this place is the operating hours and fast food dynamic. Otherwise, going to a store front or food truck is a much better option.

Mama Margie's has been open for a long time, I used to eat here 20 years ago. I moved and didn't live near this location and they still have a bustling business. I ordered the Grilled Chicken plate for lunch. It was really good and is served on a skillet. It comes with charro beans, Mexican rice, and a dip tostado with lettuce tomato and guacamole. I'm so glad after I came back from doing errands I stopped by. It had been two decades since going and the food still upheld the same quality food. I really recommend it here. Take your family! Take your friends! Take Your Beloved, you will be pleasantly surprised. P.S. They hand you your drink with ice to fill it up with tea or sodas. And they are open 24/7, that's a big whoa for me.

Stuck in I-10 traffic and getting hangry, I decide to kill time and feed the beast at Mama Margies place. I can't remember the last time I ate inside at Mama Margies but the dining room was open and mostly empty. After a quick review of the menu, I order the Mexican plate with a beef crispy taco and onions on my enchilada. As I go to find a table, I'm reminded that they have a self-service chip and salsa station so bonus for me. I grab a basket of chips and a few different salsas and wait for my order. They call my order number and I go get my order and it looks and smells so good I can't wait to dig in. The cheese enchilda was good with plenty of cheese, sauce and the onions I asked for. The crispy beef taco was good too but since they placed it on top of the Spanish rice the shell got soggy, and it bottomed out. Note to self: next time ask for the crispy taco on a separate plate :-)The rice and beans were both solid; the freshly made tortillas were warm and toasty and closed the show. Overall, Mama Margies is a solid go to spot for consistently good Tex-Mex comfort food on the quick. I will be back soon.

Amazing breakfast cooked Hot and Fresh and fast.Eggs cooked perfectly to order for Huevos Ranchers with awsome flavor ful potatoes and beans. Huge Quesadilla with strips of Bacon, fluffy Scrambled and lots cheese servered with real Guacamole and Sour Cream. There is a good varity of Salsas to choose from. We ordered from the Very Nice Manager at the counter and our food was ready in minutes.It wasnt awfully expensive like so many places these day.....i took home half of my breakfast....i couldnt eat all....easy on and off I 10...

They have messed up every single online order I've ever placed (5) total. When I called to let the "manager" know about she didn't care at all and told me I had to call corporate office to get a refund on a $30 breakfast order. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and not helpful at all.
