Mama Margie's Mexican Restaurant

My previous review was based solely on my online ordering experience. To be fare, I thought I should rate their food. It's counter service texmex in San Antonio. Everything is good. Are there better places....definitely yes.Are there worse places.....definitely yes.I actually love their bean and cheese tacos.

Mama Marggie's always has the best chips! With their self service chip station and warm salsa delicious! I ordered one Bean and cheese, and one guacamole taco on a corn tortilla. The corn tortillas are made in house fresh they were very good. This restaurant it's always clean and well lit. They also have very clean restrooms.

I've driven past Mama Margie's 1000 times, but today was the day I ate there. It was...okay. The food is adequate. I got the chicken quesadilla, my sister got breakfast tacos, and our friend got the enchilada plate. There was only 1 other family inside, but the drive-thru had a long-ish line at 10am on a Friday. We ordered at the counter and waited for our food to be ready.I liked my chicken quesadilla. I was surprised to see it had dark meat, but it was juicy and flavorful. The salsa bar is nice, but none of the salsas had much flavor at all, which was a disappointment.The restaurant was very clean, and the 2 employees I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I would go back in a pinch.

The place was filthy. The food was meh. The service was alright. Essentially, you get what you pay for. We won't be revisiting the one in Schertz, again.

I haven't been here in a couple years and you can definitely tell that the service and food quality has gone down hill. I'm not sure if they are under new management but they got to get it together respectfully.I went there Saturday to get nachos not only did it take a couple try's to get my order right through the drive-through. When I got home it looked good. However most chips tasted stale and the ration of the toppings to chips didn't seem to even out. I woke up the next morning feeling sick to my stomach and VIOLENTLY THREW UP EVERYTHING. I fully blame this restaurant since it was the only thing I ate besides a bag of chips. Also not worth the money.

When you order potatoes, egg and cheese taco, I guess it means three small diced potatoes! What the hey! Other than that food ok. Wish they focused more on quality than quantity.

Had to leave a review regarding this robbery. This small container of queso ($12.99 without add ons)/chips, picadillo, 1 tiny container of sour cream, 1 tiny container of guac = $21. Come on... lol should've just made this myself.

It's a no for me & thats cause I'm a big back . 2/10 staff is nice but food ain't it . My partner and I left feeling very sick .

We arrived and were told it would be 15-20 minutes for our order. After 40 minutes, we asked for a refund along with several other customers who ordered before us. The manager was rude. We'll NEVER go there again! And this was on a Wednesday evening could you even imagine how long it would take on a Friday or Saturday evening?

Paid over thirty dollars for two orders of nachos with all stale chips no beans very little cheese and meat. It's been a few months since we've eaten from there. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but now they're even worse. Good thing taco Palenque is here cause I've never had any problems and should of just ordered from there
