Food truck came to our neighborhood. Loaded Gyro fries were pretty good. The fries themselves had seasoned salt, which was good with the cheese sauce, but clashed with the Greek toppings. The gyro meat was well seasoned. My husband had a Philly cheese steak, which he liked. The Baklava was actually better the next day as leftovers. The churro was stale. The cheesecake had a burned top. Don't rely on text orders. In person orders weren't too smooth either. But overall, I'm glad we tried something new.

They were out in Helotes so we stopped by and so glad we did. I've been searching good Greek food with enough flavor and this is it!! We enjoyed all of our food! Will probably size down on the gyro next time because it was so much food, but the amount was much appreciated!

This food truck visited my neighborhood. This guy has great Greek American food. We ordered two gyros, loaded gyro fries, and a hot dog. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and decently priced. I would definitely visit them again!

They came to my school and holy cow this was life changing. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting some gyros.

Delicious! My husband and I had the gyros and they were filling without making us feel heavy. Everything was fresh. The lamb and chicken gyro meat was really good and tender. The flavors of each component complimented each other.Also, I'm not a bread person, but I really liked the bread on the gyro! It was just a little pricy as the super gyro was $17 and the regular gyro was $12. But I think that's typical for Mediterranean food anyway. I would still recommend trying this place out!

Wonderful experience at this Mediterranean food truck parked at our offices today. I told the owner I was vegetarian and he made me an amazing platter of dolmas, hummus, tzatziki sauce, falafel, salad, and pitas complete with two kinds of hot sauce. Everything was fresh, quick, and delicious!!! I hope they come back to Community First Health Plans/University Health System.I even got my Mexican Coke fix!Desserts look amazing but I'm trying to be good.

Saw this food truck at the Schertz Holidazzle, and haven't had a falafel for a long time, so I ordered one. It was $13 - a good price. I was so happy with the food! It was generously sized - bigger than I expected, and came with fries, which I also wasn't expecting. It was a full plate. The falafel was delicious - one of the best I've had. I gave the fries to my sister and nephew, who said they were great, too. My nephew eats fries at every restaurant he goes to and is an extremely picky eater, so they had to be good to get his approval. Customer service was also great. I'd highly recommend this food truck!

This truck rolled by my work today and I was impressed. There are some great places in town to grab a Gyro, and I have been to more than a few, so my expectation is high. With that Preface out of the way, I am reviewing The Gyro from Maldonado's Grill. I ordered the lamb, and boy oh boy that tender and flavorful lamb carried this sandwich into 4 Star territory all on its own. There was a tomato slice or two in there, but not all the way through, I also did not get any grilled onions, and that was a shame. I am going to chalk this up to our office putting in a fairly sizable order right during the lunch rush, so the benefit of the doubt is being used here. I added points back in for the soft and fluffy Pita bread that was quite delicious. Fries were also good, but you need to salt them (Not a bad thing) I would rather salt my fries to my liking than have too much and ruin them. The Tzatziki was cool, creamy, and plentiful. This sandwich was an all around A+.Will I order from Maldonado's again? Yes, the deliciously seasoned and tender lamb was well worth it. Though I may try the tacos next time.

In what world does a hotdog and fries cost $10 ? They were kind, thanked me for tipping them and the food was cooked to order- which is appreciated. They often stop by local colleges, so maybe it explains the price gouging. Although, it's not a sit-down establishment, so these prices are unjustified for what you're getting. If you're a home-cook, just wait and make your own version of this food.
