Brunch is always great at Magnolia! Mimosas, pancakes, and omelets, OH MY! I haven't had to worry about whether I'll like a particular dish or not because all of them have been consistently delicious!Check in on Yelp! And head over to the restaurant for a shorter wait. Although it's always busy, know the food and service makes up for it. They are very active in our community, too! If there's a mini market or a shelter being sponsored, know that your food purchase is staying within our community!

I must admit I'm disappointed to give a low rating given the fanfare and constant waits people endure to eat here. First, their positive attributes include a clean restaurant and friendly, efficient staff who clearly work hard to provide anything patrons need and keep the tables turning (so that the rest of us can wait less). My Buckwheat pancakes were indeed tasty and not something easily found, so kudos! Now for their challenges - the biggie in my opinion is the lack of real maple syrup available, even for an extra fee. Calling chemicals 'pancake syrup' and then stating on your menu that you strive to provide clean, healthy food with limited processing is amusing. Please, do everyone a favor and get some real maple syrup for those pancakes! Seriously... Sadly, your regular pancakes were not very good on the day we visited. My kids wouldn't even finish them even with chocolate chips inside, which is saying something. I also noticed that the plating was rather subpar. Members of our group had caramel in glops across the plate, with nothing for presentation. If you're going to charge NorthEast prices for pancakes - and they are fellow Yelpers, because I live there and can attest to this - then they should at least do a better job of their presentations. I encourage the restaurant to improve their syrup offerings and presentation (as I assume their signature recipe is not changing).

The food was gooood, could use a little more seasoning but had decent taste to it ! Didn't feel heavy at all. The pancakes on the other hand...AMAZING. Fluffy and melting in your mouth pancakes. Definitely recommend getting some!

Wednesday morning 8amNo wait! ... Wow!Ambiance and Decor are much like the original. Service was great. We both had Magnolia Breakfast. Those pancakes just melt in your mouth. Yum.I think I'm spoiled now on these pancakes. My husband loved the color of the egg yolks. He's never eaten here before so he was impressed. I'm sure we'll be back!I totally forgot to take food pics, but got one of the seasonal special.Located just north of 3009 off IH35 in Schertz / NE SA area.

Here's a rMagnolia Pancake Haus never disappoints! Today, I tried the chef's special--a cheese steak omelet--and it was fantastic. Packed with flavor and topped with a rich cheese bacon sauce, it was a delicious choice that I'd love to see on the menu more often. I also enjoyed their German-style apple cinnamon pancakes, which are a must every time I visit. The pancakes have that perfect blend of sweetness and spice that makes them unforgettable.The atmosphere here is cozy and family-friendly, and even though it's always busy, it still feels clean and welcoming. The service is on point; we were greeted and served quickly, and our food arrived in no time. Magnolia Pancake Haus continues to be my go-to spot for breakfast in San Antonio, thanks to its consistent quality and inviting vibe.

I finally got the chance to try out this restaurant. The first thing I'm going to say is that the entire staff is fantastic. Not many places can say that. As we were guided into one of the dining rooms, the aroma of the pancakes and the bacon and the waffles were a warm welcome! Made us happy right away. I got a breakfast that included eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. The eggs were really good. The bacon was perfect! The coffee (I had decaf) was really good too. All of those items were way above average. The hash browns weren't as good as expected. I am just thinking that is just an anomaly. The pancakes were good but not the best I have had. However, I would definitely go back!!! I would try one of the specialty pancakes.

This is an experience we had with Magnolia Pancake Haus on 17730 I-35 N. Been to the store a few times so this is a belated review. Located at the same large plaza as Living Spaces down the street from the Hampton Inn parallel to the I-35 fwy, it is hard to miss. Huge parking lot with plenty of parking always. Ordered the Texas Peach Pecan waffle, buttermilk pancakes and the shrimp & avocado omelettes. Great tasting large 8-in pancakes, crispy waffles w/ pecans, and flavorful omelet w/ avocado, shrimp & cheese pairs w/ salsa. Further, what made the experience even better was our server Chris T. He was attentive, friendly and suggested great specials, even helped us save some money by ordering our items a different way. He also checked on us frequently to ensure our food was good. Overall a wonderful restaurant with consistently good food. Because of Chris T and the great food, will definitely come back to try more dishes again. I have been here two times! Once for a birthday brunch with girlfriends and the other time with just my husband.The food is good and the service is always very attentive! It's a breakfast house with breakfast decorations and has decent breakfast foods, but nothing that really makes it super special to me. Think if IHOP had a southern cousin! I did try the famous Corned Beef dish my first time here and it's was on the dry side, wouldn't recommend for myself again. However, I do LOVE the pancakes! The fresh squeezed orange juice and lemonade are also really good here!The only major drawback is the wait! If you don't have yelp and check in before you go, then you may be waiting an hour plus on weekends for breakfast food.

The system was down when we arrived when people leaving waites an hour at the table to be notified. Will try again today. I'm glad we went back today. We checked in via Yelp to be added to the wait-list. For those who dis not expect an hour wait. Once we were seated, the waiter warmly greeted us. Less than a 5 minute wait to receive the fresh breakfast meals: pecan waffle, blueberry pancakes and cinnamon french toast with eggs and bacon. They are known for their pancakes so you can go wrong! Will definitely return.
