I have to start by saying that the staff and service at Maar's Pizza is excellent!! We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Our server, Jason was welcoming and willing to offer any insight to menu items. He checked on throughout the visit to make sure our drinks were good and we were enjoying our meal. As a guy who was raised on NY style pizza; the pizza at Maar's comes close. I'm very critical to those who offer NY style pizza so I tend to be very particular about how it should be done. The pizza at Maar's is very good, but didn't quite hit home for me. The crust was a bit soft and "doughy" which made the grease seep through onto the pan and the bottom of the pizza seem a bit soft. Again, I'm being a bit over critical but I do that with NY style pizza. Overall our meal was great, pricing was reasonable, and I'd come back again just for the service. The place gives dive vibes and seems like it can be busy on a weekend. Looking forward to the next visit to try some other menu items like the wings and maybe the Stromboli. 4 stars only because of a technicality on the pizza.

We tried Maara pizza. Ordered fries mushrooms for an appetizer. They were good. Ordered wings as well. They were exceptional. Also ordered a pizza. It was cooked properly and had plenty of toppings. Pizza was good but the crust could be better. All in all, we will be back for the wings.

My boyfriend and I came here after craving pizza. We normally aren't on this side of town but love trying new spots. We ordered the fried mushrooms, great flavor, for an appetizer. We also ordered the brisket pizza plus the large order of wings. We chose the spicy lemon pepper and the medium flavor wings. They are baked then fried and omg they're good, definitely recommend. The pizza was on point with flavor. Our server was amazing but unfortunately forgot his name. There's a mini store inside that's cool & the atmosphere is inviting plus takes you back to that childhood feeling of going to a pizza parlor with your family.

Their Brisket pizza is THE BOMB! Everything I've ever tried there is amazing but I really miss their Alien Fingers. Breaded green bean fries. Sooo good! An absolute must try!
