This is a food truck tucked away behind a McDonald's near I-10. There is gravel parking right next to the truck, around 3-4 vehicles can fit. I liked my chicharrones quesadilla. The texture difference between the avocados, grilled onions, and the chicharrones were really delicious! I was not that impressed with the tacos ($3.75). The al pastor meat tasted very different from the other taco places I have tried in San Antonio. It didn't really taste like meat, almost like a vegan meat alternative. It tasted similar to seitan or jackfruit trying to mimic meat. There wasn't that much flavor either, which was strange because I could see them grilling the meat next to the taco truck.Service was fast and friendly! We got our food in less than four minutes. There is no indoor seating, only a few outdoor picnic tables with some shading from the large trees above.

A must try!! We needed a scooby snack, so I went in for the chicharrones molcajete. Man, I should've order 2!! They were super dedelicious & tasty. They are fried & perfectly seasoned, we got our to go. This place is up on the Northside. I swear these cooks live in my west side. Anywho, go get some chicharrones! Tell them Razz sent you, they probably won't know who I am but it's worth a try. Go, andale!

I want to preface my review by saying I have never stepped foot inside this establishment. However, I order from Losoya's Taqueria every time my sister and brother-in-law come up to visit. It's our new tradition.Let's talk about the prices. They are perfect. The Family Order of the Barbacoa clocks in at about $20 on DoorDash, and it comes with everything you need to satisfy a family. Even with just the three of us, there are always plenty of leftovers. It comes with a pound of barbacoa, limes, cilantro, onion, pico, refried beans, several kinds of salsa, and eight fluffy, homemade flour tortillas.My family lives in Brownsville, so Sunday Barbacoa is a thing down there, and when my family comes up, I'm so happy to continue that here with Losoya's. My sister and brother-in-law always say they prefer Losoya's barbacoa to the one they get in Brownsville. It's not overly greasy, and all the components build the perfect taco.We've also tried their other tacos, such as chilaquiles, and they always get an enthusiastic thumbs up. The beans are the best refried beans in town, and it's not even close. The barbacoa tacos we craft aren't complete with a layer of those beans on the bottom.Honestly, my mouth is watering as I type this up. I may need to place an order.

I'm a transplant from another city and my first taco from here changed my life. They're located about 20 mins from my house but it's a drive I don't mind taking. There are plenty of taco places closer but Torchy's is trash and velvet taco is over priced. I dine in and have done takeout and the quality is always the same. In fact ordered from them yesterday through DoorDash lol
