We got Barbacoa, chicharrones and carnitas de puerco at this place at 10 am on a Sunday. Everything was good except the carnitas. We tasted them and noone liked the taste. They tasted like the bottom of the pan was burning and had that flavor. So i take the food back and the cashier makes a face when o tell her and she says she has to ask. So she tells the owner (tall light skinned lady) and she looks in the bag, looks in the pot and tells me she tasted them this morning and then he said fine. And I tell her well, we didn't like the way they tasted because they tasted this way and so we didn't eat them. She Hufton puffed and rolled her eyes, and I said she could give me my money back or give me something else, and she just shook her head and tossed the food on the counter. She rang it up and put the five dollars on the cashier, then got the change and just handed me the change in my hand and left the five dollars on top of the cashier and walked away. So I just grabbed the five dollars and walked out. She was obviously upset that we were unsatisfied but I did give me my refund. We will not be returning to this place. This lady needs to learn some customer service. She was very rude.

I never write reviews but this time I just had to. We got the menudo a dozen pork tamales and some barbacoa. The tamales tasted burnt and pork meat had an off taste and they've always been delicious but not this time. I thought well it happens I guess. I move on to the menudo but it was very bland! Again I thought maybe it was made by a new person or new people I don't know but it definitely wasn't the same as before. I decide to have a taco of barbacoa instead and as I bite into my taco I thought wow did I just bite into my paper towel NO it was a piece of brown paper bag coooked like into the barbacoa! I went and told my husband and then I was saddened after he said yeah they're off our molino list because he thought the same of the quality of the food! I know we're all going through some hard times right now but negligence at a restaurant is never ok! Meaning the paper bag in the barbacoa! Hopefully this place gets back to where the line is all the way out the door again!

Whenever I'm on the southside visiting on a Sunday morning, its a guarantee I will be stopping at Los Hermanos for some amazing barbacoa, tamales, and a huge stick of fried chicharron which is fried pork belly! Their menu ranges from 5 different combo choices to a la carte for all items. Their barbacoa is all meat only, but don't let that deceive you. It's super moist and juicy from beginning to end and has great flavor. They have a tamales that range from pork, chicken, and bean and jalepeno to name a few. They all taste great! How can a stick of fried pork belly be so bad for you and taste so damn delicious?!?!?! It's definitely not good for you healthwise, but a fantastic treat to enjoy alone (no judgement ) or with others. They make their own flour tortillas and bunuelos, the salsa verde is flavorful, and customer service is always top notch. So don't sell yourself short on bad barbacoa. Head over here for a fantastic way to start your Sundays

Their bean tamales are amazing. I actually dreamed that I had a dozen, and was sad to wake up tamale-less.

Great old fashioned style molino. They still make tortillas in house and the recipe for the tamales is timesless. Place hasn't changed a bit and the barbacoa and carnitas are really good.

Woke up this morning looking for somewhere a little different, compared to the usually Sunday brunch at La Madeline or Mary Lou's. It also turned out to be part of my never ending quest to find the best corn tortillas in town. Los Hermanos does look a bit suspect from the outside/inside, but the Barbarcoa, Chicarron de Carne, & Tortillas de maiz are legit! 96 corn tortillas for $5.50 is insane, I don't think I would ever have use for 96 tortillas. The tortillas are the highlight of everything. My buddies fiancé compares them to tortillas from the Valley, which is according to her where the best corn tortillas are made! As for the Barbarcoa, it is lean and not crazy greasy like some places. The Chicharron was also good in flavor but obviously not for your health! I would recommend this place for Sunday morning breakfast for home!

If you go eat here you might wanna double check your receipt. My husband and I have gone a few times and always just pay don't look at our receipt. But last weekend it was just the two of us for breakfast and it was 40$ so I decided to have the receipt texted to me. It took a few minutes for me to get it because of the service but when I saw it I was so shocked. He got a fajita mix plate, on the menu it said 11.99, he was charged 15.00, 3.00 extra for mixed and 1.00 for al la Mexicana, and .60 for tortillas. We got 2 teas and asked for lemon they charged a 1$ for lemon. That's just ridiculous. I wanted to go back and tell the owner about it. But I decided that I wouldn't fuss and I would just no longer go there. Please be careful when eating at this restaurant.
