Go to spot for tasty affordable breakfast tacos, but I wanted to try out a lunch plate today, and it was good. Will be getting it again!

Tiny restaurant, the waitstaff, are friendly. Have never had to wait too long for the food to be served. The food is sooo good. Plus, the cook has a great singing voice, sings to the songs on the radio. Parking is limited. Food prices are reasonable.

Authentic Tex-Mex, great tortillas, friendly service, reasonable prices. Great little neighborhood joint.

This is THE BEST place! Whether you are hungry for breakfast tacos or lunch. Our 'go to' are the bean & cheese, potato & egg w/cheese & bacon potato egg w/cheese tacos; the barbacoa and the carne guisada plates are AMAZING also!! The staff are friendly & the salsas are out of this world!! LOVE THIS PLACE!! Definitely worth it!!

Please please please don't go here!!! I'm hoping we don't get food poisoning. Somebody please tell me WHERE IN MEXICO do they make enchiladas filled with dark yellow cheese topped with dark yellow cheese??? NOWHERE. So DON'T call them "Mexican enchiladas". Food had NO FLAVOR. Trust me, I am not a picky eater. As a matter of fact, it didn't taste like food!! I love all kinds of food. This is the FIRST TIME EVER that I leave my plate filled with food and go. I'm not sure where the 4/5 stars reviews are coming from. I don't like leaving bad reviews unless it's necessary. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. You're better off eating a slice of bread with cheese.

Had the chilaquiles rojo with egg and bacon not a lot of taste in the chilaquiles rojos but the eggs with salsa where on point beans and potatoes to service was quick and great the location is good

Been wanting to try this spot being that it's affordable & close by. I ordered 2 bean and cheese with bacon tacos & a bean & papa taco for my daughter. Tacos had no flavor, they were pretty bland. The worst part was that the taco had yellow sliced cheese smh.. like the kind u put on a sandwich. Threw off the whole taste even more. I will get something else next time & give it another shot.

Don't recommend for people looking for good tacos, they use nacho cheese in their tacos which pretty much ruined the whole order as a whole. Tacos themselves were alright, nothing special.

Food Slaps. Breakfast Tacos are cheap and 100% slap. The machacado and egg slaps. The Coffee is solid. 10/10 would recommend

These tacos from Habaneros single handily fed my family through starvation, depression, and brought me and my brother together again! It's day 7 that I have been eating these divine god sent . Never again will my stomach rumble for 2nd best, every other 1,000 of tacos shops in San Antonio, cannot come close to this heavenly taste. Best tortillas money can by at a VERY reasonable price, fluffy milky eggs, and their papas, never tasted better. Im never getting tacos from anywhere else. My only regret is not coming sooner. If San Antonio is actually "Home of the Breakfast Tacos," then Habanero's is the Alamo!
