Lunch at 1130 am it's slow. About noon it picks up. I saw a lot of Uber orders. I had the chili relleno and cheese enchilada. Both had great flavor. I got the salad and the green is fabulous. The others are good too. Had refried beans with good flavor and corn hand pressed tortillas. Everything was hot and rather quick. I had a great lunch and will be back. Next time I'll order some protein and maybe get a five star.

Food was good and filling. The service was okay but later improved as the server was also attending other things in the kitchen. She was polite and attentive. There are a lot of items in the menu, which is a good thing but hard to decide as a new comer. The interior has enough space to accommodate larger party. Overall, great place to come eat by yourself or families.

En un día de frío nada mejor que un caldo bien calientito y decidimos visitar este lugar que está ubicado en Universal City, ordenamos caldo de pollo pero la verdad no tenía mucho sabor y era más verdura que pollo , yo ordené una sopa de tortilla esa si me gustó mucho, el tamaño es pequeño solamente, mies poso ordeno chocolate caliente lamentablemente era de sobre y con agua , el servicio fue bueno, la mesera muy amable, nos trajo un poquito de caldo de menudo para probarlo, así que fue muy amable, el lugar le doy un 6 de 10, los precios están en un rango de regular

The location is not bad, it's located near Pollys Pet Shop, and the food is very well prepared. I liked the tacos and salsa they bring to the table. It has three different salsa options. I like the very friendly staff as well, and it made the experience more enjoyable. I wish there were outdoor seating because that would be the icing on the cake

Amazingly quick and wonderful food! The restaurant itself has had an upgrade recently and looks very clean! New pictures and an upgraded menu are what we found when we walked through the front door. The menu is easy to read and full of so many yummy tasty foods. The pictures are worth exploring every single item! The gentleman who took our order was super easy to work with! He was nice and answered the questions we had over the menu flawlessly. The order was placed and in less than 10 minutes we got our drinks and food! The owner was on property eating her own breakfast as the same time we were. She did stop to talk to a customer and greeted her kindly, even though she was eating!! The tacos are amazing and well stuffed. I got 1 carne asada with cheese and sour cream and they took the extra time to mix it all together for me! Never has a place done this before. My husband got a chicken fajita and bean and cheese taco. All three of the tacos were stuffed, tasty and made to order. We visit this area frequently and will be back soon!

When you're missing home, this place helps. We're originally from California and my husband's family are all still there. It's been tough finding really good Mexican food and so far, this place is not bad at all.My husband started with the Menudo Special with a Napal and Egg taco and I ordered Chicharon with Egg. My husband enjoyed the menudo so much, he kind of regretted ordering a small. I on the other hand really like my Chicharon and egg! So much flavor. I wasn't able to finish it so my husband took the chicharon pieces to put into the menudo. (In my defense I was getting over a bad cold so food hasn't been a thing for me)After we finished, my husband really wanted another bowl of menudo so we put in a second order. I can honestly say he is one happy camper.I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because of the service. Our server never checked on us and I had to wave another server over to take our second order. I didn't want to go too low cause the food was exceptional.

Mexican unidimensional at it's Finest!Been here for breakfast & now for lunch. Their breakfast plates & tacos are served in generous portions. Their Lunch specials include ice tea. Their staff is always friendly & their server Jessica is very courteous & explains menu with pride. They offer dine-in or take-out service. There is plenty of parking & inside is spacious & clean. Will definitely return here & bring family & friends.

Absolutely delicious food!! inside was a little cold but other than that a great place. I had the Texan plate which came with carne guisada and cheese enchiladas which were pretty good. But what was best about this place was the birria tacos!! My boyfriend ordered some and it was so good. Very hard to find good birria tacos but they killed it!

We decided to try this place a while back, and it was a real disappointment. It was lunchtime, so we asked about a lunch special. It appeared there was a problem finding someone who could speak English, but the best we could tell, it was written on a white board. We couldn't tell what we'd be eating so opted to go with the cheese enchiladas to be safe. They weren't hot, and tasted as if they were leftover from the day before. The 2 plates with tea, it cost over $ 25 bucks, plus the tip. It was depressing. Maybe they were having a bad day.
