The food is made fresh and trust me it's delicious! I've only tried the barbacoa taco and it was great! The service was friendly and she always had her eye on us which was great we ordered Modello so that's helpful. The chips and variety of salsa were perfect! There's plenty of room for many families to sit! I would definitely go back but just a heads up Saturday and Sundays are extremely busy!

Their Mexican pastries were pretty bland . We went to order tortillas which were ok and decided too try the pastries . They were hard & dry and the little piggies had no flavor .

This place use to be so good I would recommend it all the time. I just went this morning and it was the worst Mexican food, I don't know if it changed owners or they fired the last kitchen crew. It was just not good , food tasted bad and my eggs weren't over easy like I asked. And the lady never filled my coffee cup. I don't recommend this place anymore. They're very few good Mexican places in San Antonio and this place isn't it.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican this is the place. It's feels like an old school house that has grandmas cooking in the back! They were very busy but the service was still quick and easy. The mole! Wow! Cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back!

Excellent place to buy tostadas and tortillas. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the love that they put into every product. I noticed they have a restaurant as well but I wasn't able to try it. Definitely recommend

Food was good, service was just ok. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. We arrived for lunch just before 2:00 and it looked like they were closing for the afternoon. The chips were stale. For a place that makes their own tortillas and prides themselves on that, you should NEVER get stale chips at this place. But we did. You can eat here, just don't have high expectations.

Some of the most delicious chilaquiles I have ever had, they may be even better than my Dad's, but don't tell him. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed the music playing. Definitely try the salsas on the table. I have a new favorite place.

Went on a Sunday morning with take out line long but indoor dining half full. The host sat us down with menus and served us salsa. We sat by the kitchen window near the waitress/waiter ordering pad. Several of them walked by without acknowledging. After sitting there about 10 minutes we decided to take the food to go. We grabbed some pan dulce. Concha, churros and cream cheese pan dulce were really good. Ordered the number 1. Added an order of tamales. The cashier forgot my salsa? This was our first time here so I don't know if I was supposed to grab my own but I figured since she packed everything else then it was packed in there. Barbacoa was alright. Both corn and flour tortillas were really good. Now the tamales, those were probably the worse tamales I've ever had. Mushy masa, wet -- paid about $51.

This is about the flour tortillas. Spongy commercial tortillas like the kind in the bread aisle of a gringo market. I was shocked. Probably made from a commercial flour tortilla mix that comes in 50 lb. bags. You're better off with HEB Bakery tortillas.

I do not recommend this business. Had the chiliquilles and they are no comparison to Tex-mex chiliquilles. Hardly any egg, no onions, no serranos, no tomatoes. Never again! Tortillas were not fresh! Waitress never refilled my cup of coffee. Terrible!
