Tried Linda's today and the experience was not enjoyable.The problem was not the customer service or ambiance; it was the quality of the food. I ordered their enchilada plate and a bean cheese & bacon taco. The taco was okay in and of itself. However the enchilada plate was almost unpalatable. First off, the rice was soggy and lacked flavor. The beans were bland but their consistency was okay. The enchiladas probably would've been fine, but the gravy they top it with is cheap and watery. It almost ruins the plate and gives everything an unfavorable slimy texture. The enchiladas were mushy. It was nauseating at times to eat. I also added beef to my enchiladas and it tasted very cheap and frozen. It was comparable to school lunch.If this place had better quality food, I would most definitely return. The waitresses and cashier were nice, and they had some good music playing. Unfortunately, that was the worst enchilada plate I've had in years. Would not recommend.

So I finally asked why the upcharge on the fideo special and the answer was cause i am taking it to go lol. I know they charge 25 cents for a container but a whole dollar more for take out. I finally know how they stay in bizness. ! they are the only place close by for the students of Lanier, 2 they rip you of with all the service charges. A dollar more for take out plus 55 more cents if you use your debit card. $1.55 more for a service charge come on. Also the dollar more for take out is not posted anywhere on the board. Fideo loca is the only good meal there unless you like that nacho cheese on your meal. This will be my last post on this sorry place.

Gorditas sounded good. But after biting into one, the dough was very thick and not fried properly. The beef Gordita was picadillo with potatoes . Guess you get what you pay for since the entree was $8.99.

The food in this place is amazing. The Chilaquiles are really good and tasty. Pretty authentic Mexican Chilaquiles if you aske me. I also love that they serve them with hand made corn tortillas. Over all a good affordable spot to eat. I eat here every Saturday since the last few months since a friend introduced me to this place. The owener and the waitresses are very nice.

Visited Linda's after see a video last night.. they surpass what the video showed. I had the Pork Chop Plate, the chops were big and thick perfectly seasoned. The customer service was on point, attentive, friendly really a welcoming experience. This a family business, owners were waiting tables , constantly checking on customers to ensure everyone was enjoying their menu. Definitely highly recommend! Let's support our family owned businesses!

I had the carne guisada with huevos rancheros and corn tortillas. The meat was delicious with this wonderful gravy! The place was busy but service was very fast! The corn tortillas are homemade which you don't see anymore! Prices are amazing!
