Ok, this is a tough one. I am not able to recommend. Not because anything was bad so much as to me it was just ok. And typically I prefer these small family run restaurants. Tacos in San Antonio is tough; there are some really good ones available. But here the homemade tortillas seemed a bit tough and the brekkie taco fillings were not hot but kinda warm. The combination of fillings I ordered on a couple tacos were mixed up, so I basically tried new ones. We showed up at 10:00 am so some stuff may not have been freshly prepared. It's a quaint little restaurant, with limited parking out front. Very clean. Folks very nice. Perhaps if this was outside Texas I might have a different opinion, but this one does not stand out to me and I will find tacos elsewhere in the future.

Tasty food and friendly service at this roadside taco shop. The food was good and reasonably priced. I had chicken mole enchiladas. They have canned and bottled drinks and ice tea. They offered me a to go drink, which I appreciate. The place is only open for breakfast and lunch.

This place is a must try! I had the best chorizo and bean taco in a long time! Everything is freshly made. Coffee was a little strong but I didn't mind. Waitress was friendly and kind. Food came out quick. Will definitely go back!

If you read any of my other reviews I am a torta connoisseur. So when it's on a menu I tend to get it. Great torta, among the best I have had in SA. They get the bread right -- the inside is toasted with some butter on the grill so it has a slight crunch. Lots of incredients except could have use slightly more meat and and cheese. Nice fresh avocado and grilled jalapeños. Delicious overall. Slightly pricey at $8.50 for fajita but worth it. A lot of the prices have that recently adjusted sticker on them so suspect price hikes due to Covibideflation.

Nice lil hole in a wall gem ! Tucked along I-35 south bound access rd ,parking is a bit of an issue due to lack of space,and next to a hotel .Food is homemade ,with tortillas being the selling point .ok portions not overwhelming or kid size .but the flavor is beyond amazing which makes u forget about the size.The layout is pretty small but a lot of customers are to go orders which makes parking kinda hard with in n out patrons clogging all the front of the restaurant

I love their Monster Breakfast Tacos. The only thing that gets me about Jonny's is that the charge $0.45 for each additional salsa. The "taco takes at least a minimum of 2.

Don't go here for the breakfast tacos order three 2 bacon tacos, and a Barbacoa taco one of the bacon tacos have a strip of bacon and one didn't have any so I took it back to the restaurant and she told me that they were little pieces in it. I was wanting to know why one of my tacos got a strip and one little pieces if anything so I asked for a strip of bacon, and she said it was 75 so I just asked if she could remake my taco because my tortilla was all hard my tortil was crunchy as I'm waiting for my remake. Another customer walks in five minutes before closing. She walks over the door and says we're close like do you guys not wanna make money my mother-in-law got upset and the lady at the front counter was very unprofessional about it and told her she could get out it was horrible
