With their recent Michelin recommendation, we recommend booking a reservation well in advance. We came Valentine's weekend so book maybe even 2-3 weeks ahead. The staff were very attentive, refilling water and removing empty plates promptly. The restaurant was completely booked out that night, so we understand that our last dish came out late. Before we had a chance to ask when it was coming, our server let us know and comped us our dessert. These dishes come out as ready so it's best to order a few at a time to share with the table. The playlist was fun, not too loud. We sat on the back patio outside. The fish lanterns were a muted light source with the greenhouse being a main light source. We received canchitas, or "unpopped popcorn", with our waters similar to chips & salsa or bar peanuts at other restaurants. We got the Please Enjoy and Rinconada (reen-cohn-nah-dah) cocktails. The Please Enjoy had a good citrus flavor and was not too sweet. The Rinconada was strong with the passion fruit balancing the pineapple flavor. We had two drinks each by the end of the night. Our first dish to come out was the Causa (cow-sah) under the Piqueos (peek-eh-ohs) section. It was a steak tartare layered on top of the potatoes and they balanced each other well. The plantain chips were thin and crispy. Each bite had a freshness to it augmented by the caviar and other ingredients. Our next dishes came out at the same time: Criollo (cree-oyo) under the Cebiches section and the Tataki (tah-tah-kee) under the Tiraditos (tee-rah-dee-tohs) section. The calamari on the Criollo was a bit softer than we like but still delicious; we usually prefer a crispier breading. The octopus was perfect, not too chewy. The fresh lime taste of ceviche was great, the canchitas gave a little crunch to the dish, and the sweet potato paired nicely as well. We couldn't identify it from the menu description, but it also had what we assumed was hominy which we enjoyed as well. The Tataki was our favorite dish, hands down. The tuna melts in your mouth while the combined crunch of the daikon, carrot, and peanuts complement the leche de tigre so nicely. We'd come back just for this dish. Like I mentioned earlier our last dish, the Tallarín Saltado (tah-yah-reen sahl-tah-doh) under the Fuertes section, came well after we had finished our other dishes, but the staff was very apologetic and comped our dessert. The T.S. had crispy fried chicken thigh and soft thai noodles with a sauce/crema that had a kick of spice that builds as you eat it. My wife really liked the red onions with it and probably ate most of that before I could consciously try them. We tried the Crema Volteada for dessert. A very good vanilla flan. The cream on top had a sprinkle of matcha and the berries with the bite of flan added an extra layer of flavor. We would definitely bring friends and family here. It's well priced for its recognition, seafood, and quality. Dishes average $25-$30 each.

Honestly, it pains me to write this review because I wanted to love Leche De Tigre and I was so excited to try it. But our experience was subpar from beginning to end.We had a 7:15 reservation for the greenhouse and were not seated until 7:40 (after having to ask our hostess to check if our table was ready). We started out by ordering drinks and a few plates. The drinks and appetizers were good, although the anticuchos (short rib skewers) were kind of chewy. Then we ordered a few ceviches and lomo saltado. Our ceviches arrived quickly, and they were good, but we never had a chance to try the lomo saltado, because it never came out. We waited for about 40 minutes before asking our server when it would be ready, and ended up having to just ask for the check because we were already running late for our next plans. This was disappointing because it was one of the things we wanted to try most. We also saw the table next to us was given the wrong dish twice. Kind of surprising for a Michelin recommended restaurant. The food was all good... it was heavily seasoned/flavored, but quite salty. I was expecting to be wowed and nothing really stood out. For the price, I can't really justify the value of the experience we received. I would consider giving them another chance and maybe updating the review but this visit left a sour taste in our mouth.

The food is good, the server was excellent, but we waited over an hour for entrees. We ended up getting it to go. For lunch, that's a pretty long time. It wasn't really crowded either.I had to edit as it was 3 stars: My wife and I are exhibiting all the symptoms of food poisoning and this is all she had to eat today. Exactly 3 hours after eating. If the restaurant has a direct email id send them something but I couldn't find it.

Superb service! Our server was wonderful! She was attentive, offered great selections and was willing to help walk us through the menu. This place offers standard indoor seating, at the bar or high top. As well as outdoor seating at the front or back patio or green house. There are plenty of seating options. They make excellent use of the restaurant space. With a vast section of Peruvian dishes, you can't go wrong. We opted for a few small bites. Everything was so flavorful! To top it off we even got a Polaroid picture of us at the end. My husband had the best time celebrating his birthday here!

Ordered Lomo Saltado and maracuyá Limeade. After waiting a few minutes, finally got my food. I cut the meat and tasted it. The meat was not at all hot and felt like it was just warmed up. Told the waitress and she offered to have it redone. I got the 2nd one and it was nice and warm, as it should! Food was good. The space inside is small and they do take reservations. In my opinion, the price for food ordered was over priced because the portion is basically a kid's meals.

I finally got around to trying Leche de Tigre and I'm so glad I did. Please note that reservations are highly recommended, and parking is limited so plan ahead. Once seated we were given some type of roasted nut? as an appetizer. It kinda reminded me of corn nuts so I enjoyed them. Not knowing exactly what to order I went with one of all the main options. Nikkei cebiche; Arroz con mariscos as my Fuerte; and anticuchos for my piqueos. I can't detail for you all the ingredients in each of these dishes but what I can tell you is that none of these dishes lacked seasoning or flavor. My palette was in overdrive, and I enjoyed every dish. The hype is real! They also have a full bar and they made a mean Old Fashioned. Overall, Leche De Tigre lived up to their reputation and I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

This place is a certified banger! The Peruvian style ceviche is absolutely heaven, the fish high quality + the regional style of "leche de tigre" sauces bring out such a bright flavor. Came here in the evening, and the vibe is low light, sexy, and youthful yet mature. Come dressed.Service was attentive - would recommend booking a reservation since spots can fill up quick.

Have came 2 separate times. The first was a random weekend outing during lunch. The food & drinks are phenomal.Had the anticuchos as well as the carretillero ceviche, and the maracuya pie. For the drink, had their mezcal drink. Sat at the bar facing the kitchen and had great service! The second time, had an outdoor birthday dinner (in May) with a group of 9 in their outdoor tent out back.I will admit, the setup was not good or acclimating if it's over 90 degrees. They had this weird swamp cooler in the back that seemed to not offer much in terms of relief from the heat. It got to the point where being outside of the tent was more refreshing than being inside. There's not a lot of air circulation either. The waitress was very accommodating in terms of photos and even whipped out a Polaroid camera to take a group photo for the memory book.

I should have penned my review the same day I went to Leche De Tigre back in October... because I can't remember what we ordered. All I know is that I enjoyed every single bite (and sip) and left happy and full.We went during happy hour and sat at the chef's table (bar?) where we got to witness the staff working their magic in the kitchen and at the food counter. Tuna tostadas, ceviches, leche de tigre... I also had a pisco sour and a mezcal margarita. Looking forward to my next worktrip to San Antonio in December so I can go back and do it all over again (and remember this time around!).
