Last Place Burgers

I was charging my Tesla rental around the corner and decided to walk over and grab a bite while I waited and WOW! What a pleasant surprise - this was the best smash burger I've ever had. This is probably the first one that I've had that was cooked properly. It was extremely crispy and all the flavors meshed perfectly.

The burger here was really good. Smashburger, with pickled onions, mayo and cheese. It was just the right mix of crispy, salty meat, and a soft but, with gooey cheese. The service is counter style, and they text you to come to the pick up window when your order is ready. Outside tables are there for warm weather and there are plenty of seats indoors at the brewery. This place has no drinks, and there is only water inside for non-alcoholic.

Outside of Roadmap Brewing Co. you'll find Last Place Burgers. Don't let the name fool you, these burgers were amazing. You order at the counter, give them your name and a phone number, you'll receive a text once your order is ready. You're able to eat inside the brewery or outside of their patio, plus dogs are welcome inside too. I ordered a jalapeño cheeseburger. It came piping hot, juicy, fresh and delicious. The burger was just everything you'd want from the fresh juicy smashed patties, melty american Boar's Head cheese, briny jalapeños, in toasted buttery buns - perfection. Will return, just for this burger!

Heard about this food truck from a friend and I had to check it out since I love hamburgers. They are right outside of Roadmap Brewing Company. They have seats outdoors and also the brewing company allows you to bring the burgers inside. I have had many burgers from many places but let me tell you that this burger is amazing!!! It was soo well seasoned and cheesy!! Paired with the crispy tots, man it was sooo good!! Check them out now!! It will not disappoint. There is no parking lot but street parking is around.

Last Place Burger is 1st Place for me!! The staff is courteous and happy explain anything. It's a chill spot to go have a great burger on a nice day. Burgers are legit!! I truly appreciate the simplicity but quality of product that they are putting out of this truck. Prices are very reasonable and the overall flavor of the food is bomb. If I had to give them a knock on something; it would be that they don't have drinks. But fret not, because you can go into the brewery and get a beer or soda to go with your meal.

We've tried each of their main burgers and we love them all! These are smash burgers y'all! Not regular hamburgers. If you know what a smash burger is, then this is where you want to go. Their fries were seasoned just right and they offer a special dipping sauce, which I recommend for both the burgers and fries. We loved these smash burger so much, we ate here 2 days in a row LOL! Side note - saw this place on social media a while ago go when a popular YouTuber reviewed them. I've been meaning to stop by this place for months and only stopped by after we visited another smash burger joint in Austin. Last Place Burger, at least in my opinion, was better than the burger joint in ATX.

Last Place Burgers is the new food truck outside of Roadmap Brewing. They serve a short menu of wagyu beef burgers and fries. I got the OG that comes with pickled red onions. The patties are really thin crispy smash style and the onions were a nice contrast. I really liked the fries which if I go back I'll probably just get a side of fries. The team in the truck were super friendly and even though there were a number of orders in front of me they were fast and I got my food in a few minutes.

This place lives up to the hype. It is by far the best smash burger I've ever had. You also can't go wrong with a nice beer along with your burger from the brewery right there. The service was also excellent. Mark Villareal, working at the truck, greeted us with a smile, and we felt taken care of. I think this place nails that delicious beef flavor you get with a real burger.I'd definitely recommend coming on a cool day since you might have to wait in line. Overall, this place is fantastic and is a true SA gem.

Delicious burger! Love this place so much; they have four burgers to choose from but get there early because they will run out!! This us a food truck in the road map brewing patio area and I highly recommend getting a beverage to go with your burger

Service was simple, straightforward and kind. They use a texting feature to let you know when your order is ready for pickup. The ambiance was nice, but two noteworthy things: first, the location is a food truck that is attached to a brewery with indoor and outdoor seating; all outdoor seating is uncovered! I happened to be here on a day that was cool and overcast, so no problem. But a typical hot, Texas day would drive me inside for some AC. Secondly, directly across the street is a craft beer and BBQ spot that is playing music as loud as a Vegas night club! So if that's your vibe, then cool. Wasn't really mine...On to the food. Nice smash burger. I had the OG and the standard; both of which were cooked very good but could benefit a bit more from better toppings. There needed to be a bit more acidity to break up the meat and cheese. After awhile, it richness started to become overwhelming. There is a special sauce that you can purchase for $1 on the side and it broke up said richness; but, it is very garlic-forward and distracted from smash burger flavor profile.But if you're a huge garlic fan, you'll love it!All in all, I rated everything a solid and respectable 3.5 out of 5.Nice job!! Definitely not a Last Place burger or experience!
