I ordered the posole which was a huge bowl for the price and had excellent flavor and texture. I really enjoyed it and it comes with foot in it just FYI.. my party ordered Menudo which was flavorless so the Menudo definitely needs some work . Our waitress was Yesi & she was super tentative to our needs , very sweet and kind waitress. We really enjoyed having her as our waitress. I only gave it four stars because the Menudo needed flavor.Yesi gets 5 STARS!!

Food was ok. Wasn't too hot but still good. Service was good and understood what I wanted. Space is good and ample to fit large party.

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The menu is huge and they have a great variety. I also had agua de tamarindo and it wasn't from a powdered mix. The lemonade also had actual lemons in it, it was delicious. The pipián sauce was very flavorful and the rice and beans were cooked right. The meat in the tacos was also well seasoned. The flan was pretty good too. I would go back to try their cafe de olla.

Sunday afternoon. We waited about half an hour for a table and an hour for our food. Food was authentic Mexican. You can tell they use great ingredients and that the food is fresh, homemade. Pricey for Mexican food but delicious.

I arrived at this restaurant around 10:30 AM. I ordered a Machicado and egg taco with without the pico de gallo, .and papas Rancheras taco. I asked the waitress if the flour tortillas were made in house. She replied they were. I was not impressed with the homemade flour tortillas at all. The egg in the Machado taco was overcooked a little dry. The Papas Rancheras were lacking love. The waitress was attentive. She did provide us with a menu that has green drinks and shakes. Overall, the staff at this place is not very friendly. This is the second time I visit. The cashier was attending to her personal needs first before taking care of my transaction. The restaurant is somewhat clean. I did notice the floor in the dining area was a little dirty.

Las Sabrosas de Guanajuato is an excellent restaurant serving excellent food. Their comprehensive menu has all of the Mexican food standards; enchiladas, tacos, soups, gorditas , platillos , and a whole lot more. This place gets crowded quickly! Patience is required here as there could be a long wait. But, it's worth whatever wait you experience.I had a fantastic dish of carne meatballs in a red sauce that came with rice a re-fried beans. I was very, very good.My wife had Authentic Pozole Rojo that she absolutely lovedOur cousins had Huevos Rancheros and Calabaza Con Carne De Puerco that they enjoyed a lot.The food is great, the ambiance is basic but neat and the prices of their food is beyond affordable and fair. This was Mexican Food done right!

I love las sabrosas! Food is always great but I'm so disappointed with the service. I ordered two tacos one lengua and one deshebrada, I asked the waitress if both were prepared on sauce or some special way because some restaurants do that, she said no so I told her if they could make it a la Mexicana with white cheese so yes she said. I've worked in the industry as a waitress and manager as well so I know how things work. When I received my order the deshebrada taco was in like some red sauce and I politely told her that I really didn't want it because I was pregnant and red sauce makes me get heartburn I told that's why I asked you if yall can make it a la Mexicana. She replied it's okay I can change it then went to the person in charge. She came back saying so I still have to charge you and I told her but why? I'm not gonna eat it and was your mistake, the she said that's how it is I just said okay that's fine. So when I was about to pay the old lady in charged didn't even ask was everything okay? Nope! But I told her you know I don't agree with you charging me for a taco that I didn't eat specially because of your waitress mistake and she showed me the ticked saying this is what she wrote and I told her I know what she wrote but that's why I asked her she just said "ok" no apology no nothing. This place is good and very price but what hurt the most is how the managed the situation. Lack of ethic and values.

I came here with a few mom friends and had an interesting experience. The food was good and definitely not the problem. I'm not sure if it's because we have little ones or if it's because I'm not Spanish speaking. When I put my name down we were told there are 5-6 parties ahead of us. 50 minutes pass by and my friend is tired of waiting, when she went to check on the status, she found out we kept getting bumped bc we had strollers with our kids. My friend does speak Spanish and she raised her concern with the hostess and we were magically seated soon after. So I can't speak highly of the service but the food did save a couple of stars for my review. The food was good. I had the special of the day which is a sort of shredded beef in an egg pattie, like an omelette, with salsa verde on top. It comes with rice and frijoles and tortillas (I asked for flour but was brought corn...) I asked for a Pepsi but she forgot to bring it.... My friend had to remind the waitress, in Spanish. My friends got enchiladas verde and chilaquiles con pollo, both of them really enjoyed their food and found it authentic. There are a lot of items that I'm not familiar with on the menu, and I took a chance with something I've never heard of and my food was great! If you're not Hispanic, I recommend to go out of your comfort zone and try some of the non-Tex mex items you're familiar with and perhaps it'll be a pleasant surprise! But perhaps you'll get better service if you come with a friend who speaks Spanish.
