Las Palapas

The food here was AMAZING!!!! The service was great. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant was a little too cold but besides that, I was able to enjoy my meal. Thank you Las Palapas for awesome service and great food.

We went there at about 4 40 pm yesterday to enjoy the nice weather on the patio. The restaurant was very clean inside and out and the staff was very respectful and kind. Our server was named Pepe and he was very personable.The meal came with free chips and salsa. They were just okay, not very flavorful.The appetizer we chose was the Sopes plate. I had never tried these delicious tapas before but was blown away by their amazing texture and flavor! They had beans, guac, meat and a perfect base.I got the LP soup plate that came with a bowl of chicken soup and a flauta. The best part of the dish was the refried beans with melted cheese, it came with flour tortillas to make it into a bean and cheese taco. The flauta was not too flavorful but with sour cream and guac was okay. It was pretty big! As for the soup, I've gotten it at other las palapas and this time the flavor fell flat. That being said the rest of my family enjoyed their entrees. Now for the best part: the Sopapillas! These took a little while to come out but it was worth the wait! Soft, warm, fluffy, sweet and oh my the honey drizzle was the perfect touch! For only 3.99 you have to get these!Overall we left full and happy for the price! You can feed a family of 5, plus get an app and a few soft drinks for around 100 before tip which is great in my book! However all the food took quite long to come out. This allowed us to watch the sunset and enjoy our time together but just know it's not quick.

Awesome friendly service, great food, and reasonable prices! The bottomless tortilla chips are addictive and between the two complimentary salsas, the green was bomb! The red salsa was watery and flavorless. The grilled cod fish tacos had nice chunks of seasoned cod, was covered with goodness, and was def messy to eat ... so I had to use utensils, but it was all good : )The green chile chicken enchiladas were yummy especially covered in their complimentary green salsa.I really enjoyed my mango margarita- rimmed with tajin, and topped with a cherry and lime slice. Medium size $5.99!! Server was excellent, attentive, and friendly. 25% off with military IDLas Palapas is def one of my go to's for Mexican food!

I went there yesterday and they have changed their policy on military discounts. I ordered 3 tacos to go and they gave me a 12.5 % discount. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the discount. They are false advertising when they have on their menus offering a 25% discount for the military. Las Palapas needs to update their menus so they don't confuse new and old customers alike.

This is the first time I've written a review on Yelp complimenting a server. We dined this afternoon and our server was exceptional. She anticipated our needs, refilling our drinks promptly. She provided excellent service without being intrusive, and her timing was perfect. She was attentive throughout our meal. Kudos to the manager for hiring her! We will certainly request her again on our next visit. Thank you, Alejandra!

Came in on a Saturday morning, by the looks of the parking lot we could tell it was a busy morning. Finding parking was not an issue and neither was finding a place to seat. Martha greeted us at the bar, took our order and made us a couple of tasty drinks :)This Palapas is different from the others I've been to, it's super cozy with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone is very nice and attentive, they know when something is not going as smooth. At some point a very nice lady came out from the kitchen and apologized for how long our food was taking, I didn't even notice lol! We were having such a good time but we really appreciate her coming over and making sure we got our food.

Las Palapas' new location exceeded expectations! Their menu and bar offerings impressed me, and the inviting patio is ideal for large groups. Melissa, the bartender, provided excellent service and suggested creative cocktails. Adrian, the GM, and Carol ensured a remarkable experience. I can't wait to return!

New location, this is a very popular restaurant but we were able to get a seat inside. There is a lot of seating inside and outside (they have many fans and table fans for outside when it's hot). The food was very good, the server was attentive and helpful. They seem to by amply staffed and the place was clean.

Passed by this location on our way to Hotworx and my boyfriend suggested we try it out afterwards. It was the perfect reward after burning calories and sweating our butts off for 45 minutes. We shared a Lunar Mango Margarita (delicious! Slightly too sweet at first, but OH SO GOOD once you start adding more Blue Moon). My boyfriend signed up for rewards and enjoyed the special for under $5! I had the half avocado stuffed with chicken and veggies. Delicious and mostly guilt-free after that workout (excluding the margarita haha). We will definitely make this place a date-night regular.

We love Las Palapas and so so glad this one opened up so close to home. It's very nice and has a bar in the front of the restaurant unlike many other locations. It kinda gives the feel of a bar and grill. This is my second visit here, and I got the roll back special today. It was huevoes rancheros for $3.99. What a steal! It was delicious and very filling. My mom and daughter got the half stuffed veggie avocado with soup. They both enjoyed their food, too. Service wasn't the best today, but I figure it was because it was lunchtime. That definitely won't deter me from coming back. I highly recommend this place.
