Las Palapas

We went to this location for lunch yesterday and everything was absolutely amazing! The last time we went to a Las Palapas it was fairly disappointing. However this one was clean and very well decorated for the holidays which made it super inviting! The waitress was super sweet, the plates were huge and the food delicious! Our Doseritas were by far the best we've had lately and it only took one, lol - the fix was on. Our go to now, for sure!!!!

I placed an order with you on 1/1, and not only was my order wrong, but your team couldn't care less about fixing it. Missing items, wrong items, and when I reached out for help, I got nothing but excuses and zero effort to make things right. This is beyond frustrating--if you're going to charge customers for food, at least make sure we get what we paid for.What's worse is the total lack of customer service. No apology from the manager Edith and no offer of proper compensation, just pure indifference. I expect better, and frankly, so should everyone else who spends their hard-earned money at your restaurant.Not a good way to start 2025. Make sure you check the receipt and the bag before you leave the drive thru! Also, do not tip!

This location has not missed when it comes to service and food quality. I like to come here once or twice a week. There is a Las Palapas down the block from me (Thousand Oaks) but that location is horrible! So I will absolutely drive a little further to have consistent good service here. I usually get the LP Super Bowl, last time I came they put a holiday twist on it and added tamales. Today I just got the chicken fajita quesadilla which hit the spot. Had to take half home because it was pretty big.

Drive up take out. The young lady taking my order was pleasant and patient. I had no idea what I wanted. I decided to go for the shrimp nachos with extra shrimp. I only live like 3 minutes away when I got home and got situated I was surprised my nachos were still warm. Thanks for that. They are very tasty and fresh.

Their breakfast tacos are usually on point. I stopped for a late (12:40) breakfast. The chorizo on my chorizo and potato taco tasted as if it hadn't been cooked long enough. The tacos ingredients were cold. This was a disappointing visit.

The food is OK. The only problem is the service. Or more the attitude of the workers. They treat the place like a social gathering rather than "im working right now" there's nothing wrong with having friends, but usually I'll pull in the drive through and won't be acknowledged, they will just be talking to their coworker the entire time. Not to mention the music is typically being blasted. It's come to the point that I can GUESS CORRECTLY who will be at the window based on their enthusiasm. It's ridiculous. The food, usually greasy and overflowing whenever you order a taco.

Las Palapas is always a solid choice for great food at even better prices! Their daily lunch specials, happy hour, and rewards program keep me coming back, not to mention the convenience of a drive-thru. My go-to orders are the flautas, chicken soup, and the fajita LP bowl--always fresh and flavorful. If you're looking for a spot that offers both quality and value, Las Palapas is a must-try!

Only every come in the morning before work to this location. I like getting the breakfast special 1 bean and cheese and a potato and egg with a Med unsweetened tea all for like $5.50It's perfect start the the day.

Unfortunately, our trip tonight was not up to par. Usually we have a great experience. Maybe we had a newer server. Only given 3 sets of utensils for 5 people, things like that, fine. But if your dish is missing items, you shouldn't still be charged for them. I asked for chicken tortilla soup with no cilantro, extra cheese and avocado. Mine came out with cilantro no avocado or tortilla chips. Our server apologized, brought me my avocado and tortilla chips, and I scooped the cilantro out. Bill comes and we mention we never got the 'extra' avocado and cheese but he still charged us the two bucks for extra avocado. He didn't want to listen that the avocado was never in the dish in the first place even though it was supposed to have it. Oh well.. giving this spot a little break. :(

This review is from a Mexican that knows what actual good Mexican food is. I feel like the people commenting is good is bc they don't know what real good Mx food is. The food is HORRIBLE, taste less , basic and no sazon. Chilaquiles is just the Chips and salsa you get in the beginning with some melted cheese added and scrambled in it. Like WHAT?! Service- after she took our order she didn't come back and we needed a fork .. went to pay and the cashier had her back towards the customer chit chatting with her coworkers .. until I had to say "can we pay". 0/10 would not come again & do not recommend. We just came bc it was near by and wanted something quick... I didn't look at reviews beforehand. Big mistake.
