Las Palapas

Been a while since I've been to las palaps but is great in a pinch, however, your food may take a little time as it's made to order and fresh. The flavors are great, tortillas do not suck and the salsa is always tasty. Portions are generous as you do pay for them.

Food was not what I expected in the past this place was great don't know what happened my waitress was nice but not really there I should've read the reviews and look it up on yep first like all do the restaurant was clean but kind of empty another red flag there. This is what they past as fajita nachos so sad

I'm a fan of Las Palapas. I got the Breakfast bowl and it was delicious. It was just the right amount of food and it had avocados in it. Avocados are a gift from whatever diety you believe in. Add a few tortillas and magic happens. I have always received excellent customer service when I've eaten there. Iris was the best server I have had at Las Palapas. She was attractive and very friendly to me. I highly recommend this place for breakfast,lunch or dinner. Just remember that they are closed on every Sunday.

We have been going to fajitas Tuesdays for a couple of months and this if the first time they charged me more for all beef. I did not see any disclosure about must be mixed so they might want to adjust menu. Female server had an attitude with me and guest behind me, I am not sure if they have new staff but miss the regular staff.

Always great service. Brenda is a great waitress. She laughed at my jokes! The restaurant was clean and had great service.

Never had horrible complaints about this location. This morning ordered 14 tacos was told I had to go inside to pick up. My son was asleep in car seat so calling ahead to place order and pick up through drive was a great option. When I pulled up to the window they said I can only pick up inside and there was nothing they could do about it. The gentleman's words exactly was " we don't see the orders on this side I cannot pick up. I would understand if the place was packed but nobody was behind me and I was never told I had to pick up inside or else I would have went elsewhere in the beginning.

Excellent breakfast taco combo--2 country sausage and egg --well cooked not watery eggs, soft flour tortillas--I got full with one taco. Red salsa is freshly made not too spicy and delicious enhancing any taco ! Decaf coffee was freshly made and tasted very good with cream and Splenda

I came here for lunch with a girlfriend and the service we received was above and beyond. I wish I could remember the name of woman that assisted us. We was timely and very accommodating with our requested meal modifications.

Friends & I dropped in for lunch yesterday and it was wonderful. One person enjoyed a plate full of crispy beef tacos & a side of charro beans. Another was focused on fish tacos with grilled vegetables in place of rice and beans. I was enjoying my favorite dish......the enchiladas verdes with moist rice and charro beans. Though there are several Mexican food restaurants up and down Babcock, this is our "go to". Thank you Las Palapas!!

This location has the best service and very attentive staff. The manager comes around to each table to say hello, and ensure you are enjoying your meal. The food is very delicious with the charro beans being my favorite.
