The service and speed of service is always on point. They have really good carne guisada and that's what keeps me coming back. Last Palapas is my choice over any other chain Mexican restaurants in san antonio

Excellent SA TexMex. The Okie is an old favorite, with its huge serving size meal in a generous tortilla with cheese and sauce. Ask for the roasted sauce with your chips and salsa to raise it up a notch. I was impressed with the vegetarian and healthier options (it's been a while since I've been to a Las Palapas). The service was excellent, and the ambiance was casual. We were constantly checked on, which was nicer than expected. Very friendly staff!I recommend trying their lunch specials during the week and coming back during the weekend to explore the menu. There's a little bit for everyone, so it's a nice place for groups.

Great job Las Palapas Castle Hills with my order of cheese enchiladas on Door Dash. My order came exactly as requested, including corn instead of flour tortillas. The food was piping hot upon arrival.At the present time, ever since La Jacala burned down, Las Palapas serves my favorite cheese enchildas!Keep up the great work guys!

I've got to tell you the more I come the more I like it. It seems like they've got a newer staff. That's really, really respectful and attentive. The food was excellent. Had the LP specialCan't wait to come back for happy hour

Picked up lunch here for the first time was hesitate on what to order. Went through the drive thru and order 2 East la tacos ( bean, cheese, lettuce, tomato & avocado) simple but, it was good and filling. The roasted salsa was an excellent touch on the tacos. I'll have to try a different item next time.

Horrible cold food served in dine in service .Took 30 minutes to be served breakfast tacos and only two other dine in customers what a horrible experience under the female manager. She insisted I had been served food from the Warm kitchen table but not realizing or accepted that my chalupa was not hot ! It was below warm temp Can cause my stomach to be sick if the food doesn't remain hot temperature. Nothing short of amazing. This is the palapas that will never make good reviews if it continues to serve under par temp food

I had a very interesting experience today with one of the managers, I believe I was secretly profiled. I ordered lunch to the drive-through for myself and my business partner , we are both veterans with proper military IDs. I'm glad Las Palapas offers a discount to Vets and first responders, this is one of the reasons why I've been coming here for years. Even though it's only a matter of a couple of dollars it's the principal. on today's visit, the manager said he can only offer the military discount to part of the bill since we're both men who order together. Excuse me??!! What bigot kind of homophonic comment is that???In the past whenever I've been to the drive-thru with my family, the discount was applied to the entire ticket and not a per person bases . This manager's ignorant and bigoted remarks about Vets and men has me rethinking about Las Palapas! Keep it consistent!

!DANGER! SERVED RAW CHICKEN !ALERT!We habitually get breakfast tacos from there and they were usually good, the potato and eggs were good on Thursdays but not Tuesdays. Then we stray one time and get raw chicken in our nachos. This is not only unacceptable but also a serious health hazard. Very dangerous. This Palapas lost our trust. Stay away from this place. If you have nowhere else and absolutely HAVE to get food from here I STRONGLY advise others to check their food thoroughly when received. It would behoove you to skip this location entirely.

Went to Las Palapas with a party of 9 tonight. No reservation. No problem! They were very accommodating and welcoming. Their customer service was excellent. We ordered the special of the night, combination plate, and it was excellent. I can't think of one thing that was not on par! We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

Food is good and reasonably priced. They have weekly specials Monday and Wednesday plus lunch menu items . We like to go there on a regular basis.
