Too long for our food to come and it was just me and my husband forgot to take a picture of the papusas of chesse it was so delicious The chips and salas tasted very old and soggy and cold not too good . It pretty much. The staff usually talk a lot amount them self instead of checking on service for the people in the restaurant.

I was charged $46.54 for my order when I looked at the menu the Carne guisada plate was $8.99 Jasmine the cashier charged me $12.99 when I asked her about it she said the menu prices were correct so when I pointed it out to her, she goes oh some of it's not the same I said, but that's not what you told me when I asked you she just stared at me and couldn't give me a response. I shared a picture of the plate so you can see what they charged me $13 for, poor excuse of a plate and it wasn't even that good won't be going back there seems like to me they're charging their tip on top of the meals that we order basically stealing from the customers

Our first time experience was great, food came out fresh, tasteful and seasoned just right. We ordered the yuca frita con chicharrones and the chuleta plate with the banana soda to wash it all down, adding a great touch. If you haven't been, you should visit. Thank you Las Minas Cafe!

Very much a hole in the wall that needs to be cleaned a little more thoroughly. Music blaring from the tv needs to be toned down, too. But the food was good ...especially the pupusas con queso and the handmade corn tortillas were to die for! I'm just a little disappointed that the menu seemed to be 95% tex-Mex. The Honduran menu was at the very back page of the menu. Overall I'm glad I tried it probably will not go again unless I happen to be in the area and I'm craving a pupusa.

First, let me start off by stating that that I am Honduran and recently lived there. After leaving I still visit. Recently relocating to San Antonio, I was eager to try this place out but walked out feeling let down. I ordered a simple dish called "yuca con chicharrón"(boiled yuca root with pork cracklings or pork grinds). The way they cooked it and plated it was all wrong. They fried the yuca; suppose to be boiled. No pork grind(fried pork skin), they served fried pork meat. Technically it was yuca con chicharrón but no where in honduras would you gwt it s served like this. In addition, the menu is predominantly TexMex.I also ordered a Baleada but they got.the order wrong(I even place my order in Spanish). If you're Honduran looking for a taste of home or a gringo exploring Honduran cuisine... this is NOT the place. On the positive side, they do handmake their tortillas which is why they got 2 stars and not just one.As a word of advice, lose the texmex items off the menu, there's hundreds of places for that in the 210.

I'm driving into work on a Sunday. I knew cereal wasn't going to get it done for me this morning. I wanted something hot and fresh. The first time I'd walked into Las Minas Cafe I walked out. I didn't understand they serve both Honduran and Mexican food. I didn't want Honduran and I didn't immediately notice they serve mexican food as well. Today, I stopped in for a couple of tacos. One bean and chorizo and another bacon and egg. What I liked about the breakfast tacos here is they are generous with the food for the price. These aren't thin tacos but thick. I liked the crispy bacon and the chorizo wasn't overly spicy or greasy. Just right on both tacos.I just found another great little place to eat with good portions at a fair price.Who comes here? Locals including a sweet older lady who struck up a conversation with me at the counter as I was waiting for my order and she was waiting to pay for her dine in meal. It's in a strip center so you have to look at the marquee and then across the large expanse of parking spots fronting their cafe to see their place. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

It was busy but not busy enough to have to wait an hour for a torta, and when I got the torta I could count the pieces of meat in it. The new girl that took my order was really nice but the other girls didn't seem friendly at all! Bájenle un poco a la actitud y den mejor servicio al cliente, pero la comida decente
