Las Islas Marias

This is by far my favorite Mexican Seafood place in San Antonio. This place is similar to ones in East Los Angeles. The Aguachile Verde is the best as well as their other menu items. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. The dining area is clean and I love the ocean decor. If you are from the East LA area i suggest this place.

Such a good restaurant! Love the pasta marinera! Their prices are really accessible. The establishment is small though.

We decided to check this restaurant out on a Sunday. I know, I know... I expected to have to wait a longgg time but surprisingly no. We waited maybe 15-20 mins? For a party of 6. We got a booth that was surprisingly accommodating. We all got different things and they all tasted very delicious! I want to go back and try so many more different options because the family next to us ordered some delicious looking good.

I really hate to do this but I don't know how you people can eat this. That only tells me that people around here do not know good seafood. This was straight up food poisoning. The fish meat, shrimp was chewy and old. Trash. I took a few bites and called it quits. That was enough to make my stomach hurt. To the people who left this disgusting place good ratings: y'all crazy. Close this place down!

The portions are generous, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious.Double check the spiciness of what you get. The ceviche is amazing. I prefer the ceviche mixto with shrimp and fish. It can be a bit spicy, but so, so good.

Amazing seafood with fresh flavors coastal seafood dishes. Unmatched ceviche and cocktails. Try the campechanas cocktail for an ocean full bite. We will be back.

Service was instant and we were checked on many times through our meal! I knew we were going to have a good meal when we had that classic mariscos feel inside the restaurant, and I was right. My friend showed me this place and we will definitely be back!

Service and food were awesome. The location needs to be a lot bigger because it was packed, for good reason.

I wish I lived in SA just for this place. I cannot recommend it enough. The food and service was awesome. I had the ceviche verde. It was perfect. Didn't need extra lime, salt, nothing. I might come back for lunch again tomorrow before I leave SA.
