La Victoria Mexican Restaurant

This place is wonderful for an authentic Mexican food and very affordable. Clean inside and the service is awesome. Definitely recommend coming here!

Started going to La Victoria's about 1 month ago and I am in love with their chicken molé. The portions are a good size, rice & beans, 2 tortillas and a large tea *chefs kiss perfection. This combo is my new favorite in SA. The staff is extremely friendly & always attentive to us; they pretty much know as soon walk into the place I'm there for molé. The restaurant is always clean, never see any dirty dishes left on tables or mess around any of the tables. Keep up the fantastic food & service!!!

My favorite go to Mexican Restaurant to pick up my tacos before work. I love the family who runs this small restaurant. Super sweet, fast and amazing food at a great price ! Love all their tacos and on weekends when I have more time I'll sit and get the huevos Rancheros. Super yummy!!!!

Nice lil humble mex food place!! Very nice staff!! Went in to pick up a breakfast plate. Country and egg plate with double rice instead of beans and potatos. Yes i mix the rice with my country and eggs. You should try it. The portion was a bit small, but for just under 6 bucks i cant complain. The flour tortillas were homemade and they were really good. Thanks y'all!!

This is an update to a previous review in 2014. The food here is still great. They're very consistent when it comes to their menu items. I haven't had any bad experiences here with regard to freshness or quality of different menu items. Everything is always fresh and piping hot from the kitchen. The corn tortillas are still excellent and go great with any dish, especially the caldo. The waitstaff are very attentive, efficient and courteous. They always keep your drinks filled and will stop by to check on you after they've brought your food order. The prices are also great, so you can't beat this place for good reasonably priced breakfast or lunch. The parking is also easy, as they're located in an old shopping strip with its own parking lot. La Victoria is still doing a great job with consistently good food and customer service. Highly recommend this cafe!

Today I sent back to the kitchen a taco that was not what I ordered. I seldom send back food at any restaurant but this was 2nd time in week they got my order wrongI told the waitress that the kitchen staff was affecting her tip because I tipped accord I ng to service I received. The owner/main cook came out to talk to me & complained about me complaining to her waitress & said if i wasnt satisfied with the setvice i didnt need to come. Been at this restaurant about 10 years & this same owner never spoke a single word to me or directed a smile our way. Dont need to go back with that type of treatment. 2 star today.me

La Victoria is one of those spots you are always looking for. I have been enjoying tasty breakfasts and lunches there for over 10 years and never had a bad meal. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and polite. Prices are reasonable and the portions are just right. Although they have been very popular way too long to be considered a hidden gem it will always feel like your secret spot when you eat there.

The food tasted good, but the service was really bad! We only saw our server twice once when she took our order and when she brought it out. Her attitude was like the La Victoria was the last place she wanted to be at!

I live literally down the street so my location might make this a bit biased.It IS easy to get to, the parking lot is quite big. I'm always gotten my food to go and everytime we open the tray, it's just the best mexican food we can ask for. Granted I only get barbacoa tacos, but it's mainly for the lady so she can get her carne guisada plate and she is ALWAYS satisfied.It's always busy, but in a good way. The food comes fast and hot, and the owner (I'm assuming) is extremely friendly.I recommend a visit to La Victoria before trying anywhere near if you're into a nice mexican breakfast or lunch.They do close at 2. Get it while it's open!
