La Vernia's Den

My husband and I come here every Saturday for breakfast! Love the staff! Britney and Bailey are amazing! Love that this place is family owned!The fried fish plate here is AWESOME! You can't miss with this restaurant.

The hubs and I recently went to The Den. The ambiance was pretty nice. It's cute.Our server was very friendly. The food was good even though I can't remember what I ate! Lol. We'll go there again no doubt.

I've been to the Den in La Vernia several times over the Summer and now for an easy Friday night dinner. There's live music by a local musician which was perfect sitting under the Texas night skyThe menu is mostly Burgers, chicken and sandwiches with a few salad, gyros and pita choices. All of which are great tasting but, the menu is a bit limited. I would suggest adding soup or, chili to the menu. Service is always very friendly and everyone is welcome from the very young to the young at heart. This is a family oriented place and includes a play area for the kiddos too. I'll be back again as I have several times before. As Always - Eat In Good Health.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! All the food is decent, some meals better than others but have never had a bad one. VERY kid friendly! We love sitting outdoors

This is the perfect place to celebrate any event. The food is very good and the atmosphere is fun and lively. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the outdoor due to its incredibly interesting decor and well planned spaces. There are places for the kids to play, live bands on weekends, and Trivia every Thursday night!

Good food, service was friendly, they have something for everyone. Very kid friendly, music on certain nights. Only complaint was there were many bees near and around the soda fountains.

The Den in LaVernia, TX is a great family friendly restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor dining with a nice playground for the kids. They have a nice selection of platters, sandwiches, burgers and sides. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and grab a bite.

Beer is always cold! Food and service is always top notch! Friendly staff. Try the pulled pork nachos!
