La Tea Da

This review is for the fantastic tour given by one of the employees, since it was my first time there And the fabulous cup of tea I ordered! Being it was my Birthday, I was so excited to try this cute tea shop. Quite a trek for us since we live on the extreme west side of SA. We walked in and I was immediately welcomed and greeted by one of the employees. She was so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable and spent the time to tell me about the shop. I wish I knew her name. They have an extensive menu listed above the counter, and in the other room are self serve tea taps, and large canisters of labeled loose leaf teas. You can order from any- they will make whatever your heart desires. The loose leaf teas are also available for purchase. My body can only handle decaf and she pointed me to the most popular selections and got to sniff the interesting tea aromas. I decided on the Christmas Nucup, a noel rooibos with hints of vanilla and taro. Omg! It was wonderful and delicious! My son and I also shared a chicken empanada. We sat in their tea room at a round table, but unfortunately were redirected to sit at a small round patio table smack in front of the counter and front door. A large party arrived for a tea party, but no tables had signs that stated reserved. The area we were moved to ruined my Birthday tea vibe : (

This is a great place!! The best hot tea and friendliest, most helpful owner ever. She gave me a little tea tour and I got to smell so many different teas and learn about each one. We found a good coffee replacement for me and I'm excited to try it. Didn't try their food but they had this breakfast cookie that looked amazing and I'll be back to get a couple. What a cool experience! Can't wait to return.

This is a gem of a tea shop. The range of teas is amazing and the staff are really knowledgeable and will guide you to a whole new tea experience. They also serve great pastries to go with your drink. They offer high tea, which sounds and looks so much fun. The interior is light and airy and makes for a great place to relax, have meetings or just enjoy your tea. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Great tea selection and fun environment for a mother-daughter date! Loved our time here and the game selections! This place was highly recommended by a friend and we loved it and have since recommended it to our baby sitter who's already brought her friends here! This place is a hit!

La Tea Da serves teas in many ways. You can get tasty tea drinks with ice, juice, and more. They brew up pots of tea in elegant teapots. They have a tap wall so you can fill up a gallon to go. They also have a wall of loose teas. The staff let you take your time choosing your tea flavors and they are knowledgeable about the health benefits of different ingredients. The kitchen serves up baked goods and tasty bites. The tea shop has a relaxing atmosphere and is a great place to hang out with friends. You can plan ahead for a tea tasting or crafts, or just show up and play games and chat. It's a kid friendly spot, too. The store offers tea related merch like infuser mugs and T-shirts for tea fans. La Tea Da is more than the sum of its parts -- it's a neighborhood hub and brings together entrepreneurs, students, and families.

What a wonderful experience ! High tea at LaTeaDa surpassed all my expectations and was the most fun experience ever. Definitely make this a must do when visiting San Antonio, you wont regret it.

I stumbled upon La Tea Da after visiting my chiropractor in the same shopping center. I know it had a different name before but I'm not sure if it switched owners or just names. I was met by an extremely friendly lady who kindly told me all of what they offer. You have to ask to smell the different teas - trust me on this. They offer a variety of teas, coffees, and refreshers. You can even have a tea party here. I had a drink called the soccer mom that was sweet creamy and delicious. They have a small variety of baked goods too that are phenomenal. I visit the chiropractor weekly so I'll definitely be visiting La tea da as much as I can! (Side note- there's a cute little toy kitchen perfect for your littles to play with while you sip your drink and relax!)

Finally found a great tea spot and since the sun finally made its way out today, a big iced tea was the obvious choice. There are so many teas to choose from and I love that they're organic. All varieties and lots of flavor options. There's also lattes and other specialty drinks if that's more your thing. There's lots of indoor seating in a brightly lit atmosphere with tables and cozy corners alike. They have tea accessories and things like jewelry and candles for sale too. The girls working there were so helpful and generous with recommendations and their favorite teas. If you find a favorite (or more than one), you can also purchase tea to take home. Also cool if you're in a hurry was the wall with tea taps. You can grab a cold one on the go and there were both sweetened and unsweetened teas to choose from. I'll be back soon!

What a fun place! I love the Tea Taps! Such a great idea. There are a lot of loose leaf tea choices along with hand crafted choices. Great service, very helpful and attentive. The space feels welcoming and lots of seating. They also offer availability for events.

Was excited to share a tea party with friends. Made reservations and had a confirmation. All of my friends arrived close to our scheduled time. Was met with rudeness and comments that they didn't have our reservation. The entire time we were there we were made to feel like we were a nuisance. Will not go into details but how we were treated and how much we paid were not worth the price!!!
