La Superior Bakery

This place is perfect don't listen to the bad reviews. I went first thing in the morning around 740. The lady is super sweet & yes go in get what you want & be satisfied, there's so many options. The place smells soo good, I feel like im at my grandma's house & all the food is freshly home made that morning & you can tell they put in the work for every pastry. Definitely saving this bakery for the future again.

Used to be one of my favorite bakery's but lately the service has been bad. Went in today and bread was all full of flies. Asked the lady if I could have the cake in the middle and she gave me whichever piece she wanted. The girls always seem like they don't want to be there.

Elderly lady is extremely rude. I haven't stopped by in over a year because of how mean she is. The sweet bread is decently tasting. Once she is no longer in the front, I wouldn't mind stopping by again

Love the pumpkin empanadas. The lady who helped me was super helpful and patient as I struggled through the names of pastries and pointed at the ones I wanted. I got empanadas, conchas, biscuits and donuts, and it was the best pan dulce I've had in San Antonio. It's very reasonably priced too.

Great selection of fresh pastries and delicious! My Hispanic father in law wanted to go here to reminisce and have an experience. But the elderly lady who was serving wasn't going to play along and was short with her answers and clearly irritated . So, Warning, don't ask questions, go in knowing what you want, pay and get out.

It's yummy the pan dulce. It has no anise which I like. Some put it and some don't. I like it without it. We have been Coming here for years

I purchased various types of pan dulce and they were all soft with various textures and flavors. It was definitely worth the drive. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a large selection. I definitely recommend the shredded coconut with strawberry pan dulce.

Love this bakery. I've been eating there since the 80's. Best yellow cookies anywhere, the piggies are phenomenal and the bolillos and French bread have amazing flavor and texture. Totally worth the trip.

Pan dulce is sold in regular size and in miniature size! We purchased 200+ small white concha's for our wedding and they made sure to have them ready on time and completely fresh!!! Our guests loved them and even took boxes home.

Definitely my go to bakery for as long as I can remember. Pan and coffee is comfort food
