La Placita Mexican Cafe

Loved it! Reminded me of little Mexican restaurants back home in the Valley. They have daily, rotating breakfast AND lunch specials and their lunch specials come with tea! All appeared to be priced at just below $9, not including the tip of course. Service was fast, friendly and attentive and the place was super clean. We got in and out in less than hour, with a few minutes to spare upon arrival back at the office. I'm already excited to go back to try their enchiladas! Highly recommend.

Barbacoa is lean and juicy .The brisket is good without tons of salt .Bean cheese and chorizo taco was on point . Passed by this place several times and client brought me here so I'd have to say many overlook this spot as I have . Glad she brought me here because it's very good here .

So my mother invited me here to eat for lunch and when I walked in I was sure this was gonna be" just another little Mexican restaurant"... but to my surprise the food here was delicious. although It may be "little" the food here has big taste! I had the brisket plate with eggs delicious, and so were the homemade tortillas yum! They also serve free chips and salsa which were also on point ... if you looking for real authentic TexMex/Mexican food this place is it! They also have different plate specials during the week.

This was my second time here. Both visits I was impressed with the quality of the food, the variety on the menu and the presentation. The place is simple, clean, friendly and fast.I had the Mexican Plate this time around. The portions were generous, the enchilada sauce was great, and they have 2 different sauces at the table (a green and orange ... Both were hot and tasty). The rice was most, savory and simple. The beans were creamy with enough fat to be tasty without being too greasy.I'll be back for the fideo loco next time!

Very good food at a very affordable price friendly wait staff restaurant very well kept and always looks clean

I very rarely give 5 star ratings, especially with Mexican restaurants. But, with so many Jalisco restaurants, (I don't like Jalisco restaurants), it's awesome to see a place serving good, old fashioned Tex Mex food. Not too many around, much less good ones. This places takes the cake and leaves you wanting more. Every single thing I have tried here, i.e., chilaquiles, brisket tacos, huevos rancheros, fajita tacos, even and not too least mention the puffy tacos), are excellent choices. I have never tried something I didn't like. This is one of our fav places to eat. If you haven't been by, you must!!

Great home cooked meals with homemade tortillas! My favorite is the carne con Chile verde tacos and gorditas! Definitely recommend!

Really poor service here. You'll have to beg for your refills. And this is a small place and you'll see the wait staff in the food serving area just staring out at the dining room and yet why aren't you coming over to see what we need??
