La Patrona Restaurant

Now called El Charto Bar & Grill. Food & service were good. The taco Asado & beef fajita quesadilla were exvellent. Loved the beans served w/ chips & the green sauce is delicious. Those others were good too but the green was my favorite. The Burrito stuffed w/ chicken was really good! The chikds plate was well worth it (needed a little more salt on rice & enchilada sauce), but was still good.

New owner new service it's great.Sometimes a little short in help but that's OK it's worth the wait. I love their morning breakfast taco special. 3 of the same kind $3.79. The new owner has an awesome personality always makes you feel welcome.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Somerset! The service is always quick and friendly and the food is always delicious no matter what I get!

The food was very good. Service was not great, but ok. The restaurant is kind of a hole in the wall, which is oftentimes where you find good Mexican food. Price was fair.

We use to go about once a week because it is right down the road from our office and the food and service was good. However today will be our last. There has obviously been a change in staff because our service overall was terrible. From the waitress that we continuously had to flag down for silverware, items left off our plate that we ordered and we never got refills until all of us were done eating. They weren't busy so no reason why our waitress couldn't of serviced our table without us constantly having to hold up our hand to get someone's attention. The food was mediocre too, nothing like we had in the past. My co worker order quesadillas which weren't even quesadillas but beef tacos with cheese. The chicken flautas weren't even rolled up like a flauta and each one of the 5 of us received our plate one at a time. By the time the last person got their plate half of us were done eating. I don't know what happened to the waitress they use to have during the morning/lunch hour but the last 3 times we went where that waitress has been gone since then it's been bad service with today being the worst ever. As we were leaving another co worker who was taking a late lunch pulled up and we told him you are better off at the gas station across the street. Don't do it because it's terrible today.

They took forever to bring out our order (which was to go). We order sweet teas which weren't even sweet and had this nasty taste to them. We order 2 bacon tacos and when I get to my final destination and decide to eat it is just bacon in a foil... spent over $20 on tacos and drinks (got a couple tacos) for it to all taste and be shitty...

I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the service being a little "lacking of attentiveness" (waited for 5 minutes to get a steak knife and another 5 minutes at the register waiting to pay). The building layout prevents the staff in the back from seeing what's going on in the front. Certainly great red and green salsa's, the pork chop was tender and beans were great...will definitely be back!

The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail had not been peeled. I had to chew the peel to avoid spitting it out. No thank you..

so last week i ordered 1 Chili Relleno plate and one al la cart and was charged i think about $14, today i went in for the same order and was charged $27, when i asked about it they said oh the menu changed. no where did i see a notice of a price increase or that a la carte items are now the same as ordering the plate. $27 and i got 2 chili relleno's and tea.
