Called ahead to schedule a reservation for 15, manager called later in the day to re confirm! Love that. Informed them that it was a suprise party. When we got there, it was only 10 chairs. So they needed to add a table extra and 5 chairs more. ONLY NEGATIVE PART was they miscounted. Everything else, CHEFS KISS. Food was great, drinks were strong and good! Miguel was so patient and sweet, great service. Turn out was amazing, environment was great! Music was great! Even the outside was warmed up, and tvs on. It was a good experience overall

Got to try this new place out.First of all, love the outside seating area. Once the heat goes down a little we will definitely visit again. This atmosphere is great here and they had some sweet entertainment. The food was delicious! The Mexican rice hit jut right! Tasted like my grandmas! I love how they bring you tostadas before you eat, it's a staple in south Texas. The service was great! The staff was friendly and offered us options on what to order. I personally had the enchiladas verdes and were delicious! The meat wasn't too greasy and it was moist! The salsa was also tasty! If you are in the area and love some Mexican food, hit them up!

The food was tasty and the drinks were strong. I need to come check it out at night when there is live music.

Decided to stop in on a Friday around 4 o'clock. The place was really nice and inviting there were not many people in the restaurant. The bad experience mainly had to do with service. Our server did not know what time the happy hours was, what drinks were on the happy hour, how to ring up drinks on happy hour. Then the same issue happened with substitution on a meal plate. if I would have gotten what I had ordered, it might have been good. But our server completely messed up my order and I did not know because this was my first time. I did not realize that I got the wrong thing until I got the bill. (my wife said it did not look right, but like I said it was our first time). I did not like what I got, but it was not what I had ordered. Overall I will not be back not a good first impression

Parking is in the back and entrance is through a side door that leads to their outdoor seating and bar. Live music and karaoke are held there. Inside seating is available. We tried their chilaquiles with no complaints. The cafe de ole was delicious. The only issue we seen was the "fly" issue. Our waitress did bring a fly fan to our table that seemed to help a little. They have a large selection when it comes to alcoholic beverages. I liked the unique decor as well.

Delicious food but it should not take over an hour to get your food, which was 2 appetizers. I understand that sometimes things happen, but sadly there was no communication. Nobody checked on us or offered any reasons for the delay.

While the food was good, the service did not live up to expectations. After arriving for a reservation at 7:30, we waited until past 7:50 to be attended to while the restaurant was not that crowded. I had to go ask the hostess if we could have our orders and drinks taken. After bringing this up, it was still another ten minutes before someone asked us for our drink orders, and the staff was visibly bickering in the background and gesturing towards our table. Super rude and unprofessional.In the end, the food came out fast and our server was friendly. My order had the wrong tortillas, so I packed it up to take home and give to my roommate. However, there was no explanation nor apology for the wait, especially after multiple tables who came later were served immediately, and then for my order to come out wrong after the wait, I probably won't be coming back.

The food was delicious and they were generous with their portions. The pricing was on point. For the quality of food and superb service they can afford to charge more. This was our first time but it won't be our last. Highly recommend it to my friends and family. In fact, we loved it so much that my daughter is coming this evening!

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in San Antonio all around-the food, drinks, ambiance, and service was outstanding. I will definitely be back. And I was told there's live music on weekends on their amazing patio/stage! There is an inside dining area, and there are fans and heaters outside, so the patio seems good for any weather. So many stars.
