I was doing a job nearby and wanted some breakfast tacos with homemade corn tortillas. This place surely serves corn tortillas. Great food and great service

My table server was the owner herself! Such an honor to meet her. She is like a leader and server, not just a boss.A small, very cozy, clean, and hospitable restaurant. This is one of several I'm visiting nearest home to try out their Huevos Rancheros, for my ultimate favorite choice one day. The place was filled with people for breakfast in spite of road construction.One thing I noticed about these Mexican restaurants -- they are generous enough to allow outside Mexican sweets private sellers to head in and sell their specialties. Such amazing friendly personally from these places. This place was one of them.They did my over-medium eggs perfectly. Love it. I also love how my potatoes were diced smaller. I always taste the refried beans before I mix up everything. Theirs was tasty.Wait staff was hospitable and helpful. They went around offering free coffee refills all the time.I like this place. It's one of my candidates for my Huevos Rancheros spots.

Great food and staff that serves traditional but always fresh and hot food .the food will keep you coming back The only down fall is parking and table arrangements.kinda tight and fills up really fast .Breakfast and lunch specials are changed day by day

We recently moved and have been in search of our close by lazy Saturday taco place. I am please to say La Morenira #2 is it.We picked up our tacos because we don't like eating inside of any restaurants with the whole pandemic going on. We called ahead and placed our order and drove by to pick up. Service was pleasant and quick. We got a whole mess of tacos. Everything was hot and fresh.2 Papa Ranchera - If you can make a good papa ranchera you got me hooked. And this was no exception. Potatoes are likely fried on there own then drowned in salsa in the taco. Which I like, it keeps the structural integrity of the potatoes but allows the sauce to be absorbed like a spicy tasty sponge. 2 Bean and Chorizo - solid bean and chorizo.1 Bacon and Egg -solid bacon and egg. 1 Guisada with cheese - Guisada was perfect. Meat was nice and tender and there was not any huge fatty pieces. (Sometimes you get those really bad cuts that are sinewy which is a gamble at new taco places, but thankfully that was not the case here). Cheese was probably American shredded which is a good thing in my book. (American cheese melts perfectly and is so extremely mild in flavor that the meat and sauce aren't lost in a cheddar daze)Over all we're excited to have a really good Mexican place right around the corner, we will be back for our next lazy taco Saturday.

AMAZING service and people! We have gone here for a long time, and it feels very comforting that they know us and the food is so good! I always love coming here to eat some of the best tacos I've ever had and their pozole!!

La Morenita #2 feels like good old fashioned home cooking. Enjoy their cafe de olla at each visit.

Just had lunch there and was disappointed. I asked what the specials were and was told Carne de Puerco was on special for the day. The waitress said the red was on special but then said both the green and red were on sp,so I went with the green. The rice and beans and homemade corn tortillas were good, but the puerco was very fatty and not much at all. The chips and salsa were lacking, too. The chips were greasy and small, and the salsa was runny/watery. After all of that, when I went to pay, i was told that the green was not on special, but only the red. And regardless that the waitress made a mistake, I was charged a regular price and for a tea that should have been included in the special. $25 for their under-served fatty Carne de puerco with a small menudo for my friend and a coffee. I feel they should have honored the special, especially when the portion was so small and fatty. The waitress was great, but the cashier, who is the daughter of the owner, who mentioned it to her mom and was sitting right next to the cashier at the time didn't care to make it right, and were both what seemed to be uncaring, or in touch with the situation.
