This is a Meat Market/ Mexican Market where you can find all sorts of yummy Mexican foods and snacks. However, the true gem of this place is it's little food court area! When I say this is THE BEST Beef Caldo I've ever had, I mean it's the best! I'm also addicted to their Carne Quesadillas! Their food is made fresh daily and sometimes they may sell out of their soup of quesadillas for the day. They also sell handmade tortillas, rice, beans, tamales and other Mexican meals. The food is affordable, delicious and they give you ample portions! The service is usually quick and friendly too. There's some seating inside the Market near the counter service area, but not much. The store is typically clean and inviting also. When I lived closer to this market, I used to go all the time. Now I'm glad that I can order delivery through Instacart!

Don't go here. The place is a mess. Staff doesn't care what you say. Food is dry and salty. No vengan aquí. Este lugar es un desastre, las mesas cubiertas de comida. Las personas que trabajan aquí ni les importa tu opinión. Y la comida ya ni paro los pobres toda bien seca y salada. Muy mal

La Michoacana Meat Market moves massive amounts of meat! Michoacan is a state down in Mexico which is known for its food. This grocer specializes in meats. If you're having a massive party or BBQ and need to feed a lot of people, this is a great way to do it. They've got pre-planned party packages for enough meat to satiate and carnivore. I stopped in for their marinated meats- they have some fantastic marinades already applied for a few pennies per pound more. I got the chicken with the red sauce that dyes the chicken a bright red, like you see at Pollos Asados Nortenos. This grocer has a great supply of Mexican cheeses, colas, salsas, tortillas, masas- anything you need for Mexican cuisine. They have a lot of Goya products. Their produce selection was pretty skimpy, with prices that are a bit higher than the local major grocer, and stuff that didn't look as fresh as it could. Really, this place is all about the meat. My favorite part about coming here is getting some weird snack to go with the purchase- they have so many different weird flavors and brands of Mexican snack food with weird names. Go munch some Bimbo! (Har!) They also sell authentic mole by the pound by the produce section. It looks and smells amaaazing. This is the only place around here where I've seen it sold as a paste, fresh. Everywhere else I've seen it, it's been in a can.

I came here to get some meat to make carne asada tacos. There was a very long line just to order meat. No problem I waited the 15 minutes. When I got to the counter and inquired about the meat I wanted the guy behind the counter told me he didn't speak English. Nice. Maybe they should put that on the door so next time I know not to come in.

I came here to avoid all the doomsday preppers. Was a little disappointed when I saw little to no meat. I asked for whatever was left of ground beef. The gentleman asked me how much I was looking for and he went to the back and started grounding beef, and cutting other meats for me. Very helpful and super nice. Thank you!!

When I want a taste of Mexico without having to cross the border, La Michoacana is where I go. All the tastes and flavors of Mexico, under one roof.I usually go for their unique cuts of meat (the 7-steak is my favorite) that the big box grocers don't carry. And their prices are unbeatable.Don't want to cook, no problem. La Michoacana has a wide variety of meats and Mexican dishes ready to eat or take home - chicharrones, chorizo, menudo, barbacoa and much more.Imported Mexican candies, refreshments, spices and chili peppers are abundant here. The staff is most helpful and just as polite as you would expect.I feel like I'm back home.

Went to buy meat and eat something from their taqueria. Turned into a bad experience. We tried to order food but we had to pay first. So we went to the front and paid. Ordered our food finally after repeated questions whether we had paid. Finally ordered I just gave them the receipt. Again when we asked for our drinks, instead of looking at the receipt, more questions whether we paid. Very unpleasant. Before leaving we selected pan dulce to take home. After we paid yet MORE questions about had we paid for our drinks!! We repeatedly assured them we had. At some point several workers practically surrounded us at the register. I kept telling the cashier that we could not have gotten food without paying. She herself said that there was no cashier at the taqueria! I won't go in there aga
