La Margarita

We were a party of ten. Our table was set up quickly. Juanita served.us chips and salsa right away then took our drink orders. Our orders were taken and our food served in a timely manner. The food did not disappoint as it was very good. After our checks were settled Juanita thanked us for coming and invited us back soon. Great food. Great atmosphere and outstanding service!!

Male server was totally rude and caused loss of business! We come here a lot- well we used to. Was there with my boyfriend visiting market square. We wait waited until 11 for them to open yesterday. Our server told us we could not order alcohol before 12:00 noon unless it was being served with food and the food had to already be on the table. We ordered Queso while we decided what else to eat. We also ordered 2 margaritas. He said Queso didn't count as food. We showed him vendors outside selling margaritas but he wanted to argue. We left. Food and service aren't good enough for this bs. Here's the Texas law: "You can buy liquor in Texas Monday through Friday from 10 a.m to 9 p.m. You can not buy liquor at a liquor store on Sunday. You are allowed to buy liquor in a bar or restaurant in Texas on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. if you are also consuming food."Don't waste your time on this place. There's plenty of other places to eat there.

Stumbled on to the open air market today and walked by this place and the food looked great and there was no wait. The menus have a wide variety including moles. Flavors were unique and tasty without being too spicy.

Mmmmm mmmm good. La Margarita did not disappoint! Chips and a salsa served and we ordered their queso - it's (almost) impossible to do queso wrong - and theirs is good. The lunch special was delicious - the green sauce was tasty and went sooooo well with the chicken enchiladas. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! You can sit inside or outside and there was a live musician. No issues with service and our waitress checked on us all the time. The price was definitely worth the food!!

In Market Square during Fiesta week.Service was good. Most people are grabbing something to eat from one of the food vendors lined up in walk areas.For a nice sit down meal, this is it. Been around for years. Good Margaritas. Decor is festive.Large place so plenty of indoor or outdoor seating.Several good shopping places close by. Area has music and all kinds of drinks to enjoy. Party atmosphere!

First time trying this restaurant after trying Mi Tierra and it was equally delicious! The main thing that would make me come back to La Margarita is how hot the food was! The cheese was melted perfectly and the food was very flavorful. During our visit we sat outside and the whole time we were not bothered by any birds!

Came here for lunch with our band while attending the Bands of America marching competition. The entire staff was professional and friendly. Our food was served in a very timely fashion. The food tasted okay. A little bland for me but not bad. The atmosphere is casual and fun. I'd come back here again if in the area.

I came here for lunch, and it was delicious! I debated two different meals, and the sweet waitress picked one for me, which was fantastic. I had the Filete Especial off the lunch menu. It was delicious fish with a seafood enchilada and fluffy rice and beans. The food came out quickly and hot. Chips and salsa were also pretty good.

Consistently excellent fajitas, very good Molé poblano and excellent complementary salsa with thin corn tortilla chips. This is so much more than a tourist place, take a group of friends and have a festive time and a great Mexican meal. Reasonable prices too.

The food was just OK, nothing special. I would not go back and would not recommend it. The service was terrible. We had to ask for things multiple times. They tried to charge us twice for a drink we asked them to redo.
