Not saying this just because...but this place is fire. We come here often, especially on Thursday nights and it NEVER LACKS. This place has been consistent since it's opened and the homemade corn tortillas are delicious. Everything is soooo good and authentic. I usually always get the mini tacos which aren't really mini lol they're big! So filling!! Now that I am writing this, I will go this Thursday again bc I'm craving it now. Everyone we have taken to eat here falls in love with it! STOP HERE FOR SOME GOOD MEXICAN FOOD!!! I can't wait for the weather to be amazing to enjoy the food even more. Lol! They may have to expand soon bc I know this place is gonna blow up.

Huge home made corn tortilla! The pastor is cooked to its perfection !! 4 different sauces!! The green is an explosion of flavor and the chile tatemado as well !! It's a brother and sister working and making the handmade tortillas ! Will definitely come back !!

Awesome spot! I've loved everything I've had, but the carnitas have been my favorite. It's the homemade corn tortillas and salsas that make this place so special.

Wow!! First time to this hole in the wall food truck. Friendly relaxing atmosphere, which is nicely covered from the elements. The food is amazing!!! Hands down, from the home-made corn tortillas to the inside fillings, which they recommended asada. By the way, the tacos are a very good size. Try the green salsa!! Thx

Wow! Literally the best Mexican food I've tasted since moving to Texas. If your looking for authentic enchiladas estilo michoacan (like your mama makes) THIS IS THE SPOT! bien deliciosos!!

Family owned and authentic Mexican food. Service is friendly and welcoming as well fast. Theyre efficient with their menu but it's full of so many flavors. I definitely recommend trying the Generala Plate that comes with 4 of their guisos (stews) or 3 stews and refried beans. It's a great way to see all the flavor packed meats that they have and it comes with 3 BIG tortillas so you can still have that taco option. If you follow them on facebook and instagram they announce when they do special Add-ons for limited times like pork and chicken homemade tamales or even their delicious flan/chocoflan. these are all announced and you can come in to pick up.

Let me tell you something...you need to visit La Generala! They have delicious tacos and quesadillas! My favorite is the Chicharron in salsa verde and the carne guisada! I love that the tortillas are hand made, you can taste the passion in their food. They are so kind as well! At the moment they accept cash and cash app.

Favorite tacos in SA! Everything is fresh made and delicious. Every time we go the people are friendly and service is great. And you get Plenty of food for the price, tacos are big! There is a nice covered seating area too so you can eat there in the shade.

First time at La Generala, is a hidden gem, you have to experience this beautiful food, both plates were loaded and the corn tortillas were amazing, had left overs and my wife made migas the next day. The Lemonade was delicious just perfect. Worth the cost!! Highly recommend La Generala.
