La Fondita China

A much needed addition to the Southside!! If you're on the lookout for a delicious, budget-friendly Chinese food you just found it! This truly locally owned and operated gem where you're bound to become a regular, it's that good! La Fondita is offering a combination of great food, killer service, and unbeatable prices. Give them a visit you won't be disappointed!

Did someone say Chinese?! La Fondita China is so worth popping in to visit. I had the spicy Mongolian chicken, orange chicken, hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, crab rangoon, and fried dumplings. The orange chicken and Mongolia chicken came with the choice of fried rice or white rice and egg roll, spring roll, or crab rangoon, I upgraded mine to have combination lo mein. These dishes were so flavorful and fresh, then the spice level came through so nice on the Mongolia chicken! Now the soups were both delicious, that hot & sour soup though is AMAZING!! The crab Rangoon and dumplings were yummy as well. My server was Jaime and he was wonderful and so attentive. This is a family owed restaurant with about 5 tables, the perfect hole in the wall in my opinion! I can't wait to come back and try some more plates.

I really enjoyed our meal here. I wish they gave a little more chicken with the sweet & sour plate but all in all it was really good. I'll be back. I highly recommend stopping by. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

I love that it is owned & operated by a neighborhood family. & they have great service & good prices, too. I usually have the Sweet'n'Sour Chicken & my hubby something hot, like Gen'l Tso's! Always yummy & filling! Such a cute little place, too! :)

I loved the Egg Fu Yung. Fried noodles were great. It's a small place. Couple of tables but every dish is cooked fresh. Not oily at all.

Over all good. Portion sizes were small, especially for the price. Things were done correctly and everything was fresh. Very much on par with the other offerings on the South side of town.

Big portions, good taste and friendly staff. Can deliver too if live within a mile and minimum order of two plates.

Our entire experience and our food was hot and fresh - staff were super friendly! We will be back for sure!
